Super basic but that is the idea behind MarCELL units. If you have MarCELL Pro - you can view and manage multiple units easily on one login. Highly recommended
Perfect solution
For years, remotely monitoring the power, temperature and humidity in our North-Central Minnesota log cabin all winter was a somewhat difficult and expensive proposition. I tried caretakers, thermostat operated signal lights and land line dialers, and local monitoring services. Three years ago I finally discovered Marcell which has been a perfect solution for me.
The simple setup, seasonal cellular service and extensive notification options including voice, text and email allows both local and remote notifications of any out of range condition in my cabin. I have complete confidence in Marcell’s ability to protect my cabin all winter.

Failure
App doesn’t load at all. It hasn’t for a year now. Uninstalled it and reinstalled it.

This “app” is Rough
This app is need of a lot of attention.
This biggest and most concerning for me is when I request to get an updated temperature (which costs extra $ each time) it typically never comes back.
So there is zero peace of mind. I called their support desk last year with little help. Now back again this RV season and getting the same issue.
Other than that, it’s essentially a shell of an app with frames filled with an outdated website.

Glitchy Performance
Two stars because it does “somewhat” work and could be considered “better then nothing...”
... Upon losing electricity once in a day, we got a message as well as when it returned however when losing it a second time we got no notice for either. As the product was intended to monitor life support for some animals at our zoo, that fact possibly renders this product useless!
The app’s history DOES NOT reflect the true history as in the above scenario it showed NO outage at all for that day.
Finally, our biggest disappointment that came to light immediately after the purchase,,, we were VERY disappointed to learn that this company charges extra on their ap to refresh and get an updated reading when wanted/needed. It truly feels as if you’re being “nickeled and dimed” to death after you purchase an expensive product! We would have guessed that $100+ usage fee would have included that ability!!! They should have just charged $102 and included all options the ap is capable of!!!
For that reason we are forced to explore competing products for the remainder of our project as are several other zoos that were monitoring this product at our facility.

Temperature sensor works great, but the app is bad
The temp sensor works really well and it’s great to have a sensor that runs over cell service, but the app looks very amateurish and is not easy to use. It looks like they didn’t spend much time on it and it would be nice if it were more functional. In order to see what temperature it was historically at any given hour you have to click on the graph in the right spot but you can’t zoom in on the graph so it’s very difficult to hit the right data point with my finger. I use it in a greenhouse so every degree matters and analyzing the past temperature is important. It looks like they just put the website design on the app but apps are intended to work differently than website. I hope the company reads this and gets better app designers because the Marcell product is really nice.

Really great product
Works for both the regular and Pro version of MarCell but really, you don’t need the app as going online via the browser is as easy and gives you all the options.
