This app is a WONDERFUL source for information.

Fantastic resource for Emergency Rooms

Rich in content with clear, simple language and an easy to navigate structure. The scientific literature cited is fully up-to-date and defines the latest in care for this deadly and difficult to diagnose condition.

Good reference

Clean. Complete. Good bibliography.

Excellent

This is a very good all around app. that helps you with the quick and dirty diagnostic piece and then gives you more detail on treatment and disposition.

Excellent

Excellent focused information about sepsis! Very handy info if you wanted a quick reference or if you want to learn more about sepsis!!!!

Jams on start up

This might be a very useful tool, but I can't access the app as all it does is freezes on the initial update and won't open app. Come on developers, sort this out, please!

Great App!

I found this app on the iMedicalApps review site and it’s really very helpful!

Nice med app

The information is well presented.

Nice interface!

I like the zoom tables and popups used in this app. Mentioned drugs are cross-referenced to their dosing pages in popups that you can swipe through…pretty neat! I wish other reference apps would do this so I wouldn’t have to go back and forth to look up drug doses.

Very practical and comprehensive!

This app contains just about all the practical sepsis info you need to know. Some sections could be reorganized and streamlined a little to emphasize the most important point, but overall a very helpful reference. Definitely worth a couple of bucks.

Good summary of sepsis care

Intensivists may find some of the content in here a little basic, but overall there’s a lot a good material in here! Aside from goal directed therapy and other sepsis guidelines, which every critical care fellow should know cold, I find the ID, antibiotic regimen and drug dosing info particularly useful…it’s nice to have everything in one place. The calculators are good and I also like the navigation, very intuitive and simple.

A lot of information in a small package!

Every ICU doctor should have a copy of this app in their iPhone! The app contains great information on the diagnosis and management of sepsis and related infections, presented in a simple, straightforward style, as well as a number of useful clinical calculators. The content covers a pretty broad range from basic h&p to more specialized neonatal sepsis topics. The interface has what you’d expect from this sort of app – full search, bookmarking, plus some slick features that I really like, like popups that list drugs, references or footnotes in an unobtrusive way. Well done!
