Serail is a campus-style portrait app built around privacy on your device. Your photos, generated portraits, and creation history are processed and stored locally on your iPhone or iPad. Serail does not collect facial biometrics, face templates, or any other facial identity data. When you delete a portrait or clear your records, that information is removed from your device. Create Japanese campus-style portraits from your own photos using an AI model. On the Create tab, pick an image from your library or camera, then choose a uniform style (sailor, blazer, shirt set, or sweater vest), portrait mood, campus scene, and lighting tone. Serail summarizes your selections so you can review the creative direction before you generate. After you confirm, Serail uses an AI model to produce a styled campus portrait. Finished images are saved locally on your device. Standard results may include a watermark; optional membership unlocks higher-quality output, watermark-free exports, and complimentary generations while membership is active. The Records tab stores a local library of your work. Browse portraits in a grid, open full-screen previews, inspect style details, save to your photo library, delete individual entries, or clear all records with confirmation. Record data and image files remain on your device until you remove them. The Member section offers optional premium access through Apple In-App Purchase. View membership status in the app and restore previous purchases through the Store when needed. Serail uses Apple standard purchase and restore flows only. Settings includes a Data and Privacy section stating that Serail does not collect facial biometrics, does not share your images with third parties, and uses photos only for portrait creation. Open the Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, and About Us in the app. Clear temporary cache without deleting saved portraits. Your original photos and generated portraits stay in local app storage. Serail does not build facial profiles, identity archives, or biometric face databases. Removing content from Records deletes those local files and entries. Uninstalling the app removes locally stored Serail data according to standard iOS behavior. Serail organizes creation into four tabs: Create, Records, Member, and Settings. A first-launch privacy notice explains local handling of photos and the no-facial-data policy. The same principles appear in Settings so you can review them anytime. Portrait generation requires a network connection for the AI model to complete styling. Serail still keeps finished portraits and record history on your device. You choose what to keep, export to your photo library, or delete. Serail does not collect facial information and does not retain your creative work beyond what you store locally on your phone.
