About

Every banknote has a serial number. Most are ordinary. A few are worth keeping - and you are probably carrying one without knowing it. Point your camera at a banknote. SerialDex reads the serial number, checks it against the patterns collectors actually look for, and tells you straight away what you found. WHAT IT LOOKS FOR Radars that read the same backwards. Solids made of a single repeated digit. Ladders climbing in sequence. Low serials, binaries, repeaters, million-marks. Every match is sorted into one of five tiers, from Common to Legendary, with an explanation of why the pattern matters. SIX CURRENCIES, NOT JUST DOLLARS Polish złoty, US dollar, euro, Japanese yen, British pound and Canadian dollar - each with its own serial format and its own pattern set. A Polish note is two letters and seven digits; a dollar is eight digits with a series letter. Most tools handle one of these. SerialDex handles all six. THREE WAYS IN Scan with the camera, import a photo you already took, or type the serial by hand. Whichever you use, the answer is the same. A COLLECTION THAT KEEPS SCORE Every checked banknote lands in your collection with its pattern, tier and date. Rare finds earn experience. Experience raises your level, and your level unlocks titles - each one raising how many scans you get per day and how many shields you carry to undo a mistaken read. NO ACCOUNT. NO INTERNET. NO TRACKING. SerialDex has no servers and makes no network requests at all. Your collection, your profile and your settings never leave the phone. There is nothing to sign up for and nothing to opt out of. ABOUT THE AMOUNTS SerialDex shows a collector value range for the patterns it recognises. Treat it as an indication of how much interest a pattern attracts - not as a market valuation, an appraisal or an offer. What a note actually sells for depends on its condition, the buyer and the day. Please do not base a purchase or a sale on these numbers. Available in English and Polish. Light and dark. Blue, purple or mint.
