Crashes constantly
There are some nice preprogrammed loops on this app - ideal for practicing drums to as you can mute the drum track - but trying to build your own loops is frustrating because the app keeps crashing and the interface is not at all intuitive.
Double tapping at the end of a bar does not add a new bar, the notes on the keyboard are not the notes being played, and trying to find he actual notes you want seems impossible.
Very disappointing as I was really looping forward to creating some great sounding rock tracks.

Vital chords missing
As I’ve discovered sadly at my expense, there are no diminished or slash chords available. Pretty poor to not have them (same for SessionBand Original). Regret purchasing now.
Great Sounding Loops and once you get the hang of editing...
then things go really fast. It does take a minute to get fast at editing, but that is more due to the Ipad. Easy to export progressions or grooves to a DAW, and between all the different apps for jazz, funk, or rock, there is going to be a Session Band that works for you.

I have almost all of the SessionBand apps for ipad. I wish that I could export the chords from one app to another, instead of having to recreate in each individual app. Also would be great to combine them. These apps are just great and so much fun!!!!!!

Good loops but the whole app is not well designed.
No pause/play button in the edit screen.
This basic feature has been requested for years but developers don’t listen.
The app needs updates based on users’ feedback.

Great practice app and more
I use this app mainly for practicing my own bass runs or rhythms and even lead parts on guitar.
By muting the rest of the instruments I have a more than competent drummer in my living- or bedroom, without disturbing the neighbours.
On top of all that SessionBand is a great tool of inspiration for anybody trying to move forward whether he/she/they is/are playing in a cover band or trying to get his/her/their own music off the ground...👌

My current favorite tool for songwriting
Just makes it so easy to come up with chord progressions and adapt them to fit your lyrics. My band thinks I’m a musical genius.
Buggy. Just bought, already bugs everywhere
Too many to name and no, inter audio does NOT work. Very generic sounding as well. I was going to buy all of their ‘packs’. Glad I tried 1 and won’t try anymore.
Fantastic and Fun
I really like these tracks, as a songwriter it makes it fun to write the lyrics and be able to edit the tracks to fit my lyrics. Wonderful and simple to use. Also very realistic and natural sound. Highly recommend! Oh and very easy to import into garage band.
Improves your sound
Makes you sound more pro if you’re not the best at making backing tracks and saves time looking for styles.
Fabulous tool!
I have used this program to rough out new song ideas, create jam tracks and backing tracks for my vocals. This is a very versatile tool for creating great music at home.
Update killed all their apps on iPad mini.
Nothing works at all. Just lots of distorted noise coming out. Worthless now. I'm in the middle of putting together a show using these apps. Couldn't be more disappointed.

... aber auch nach dem MAJOR Update ein Reinfall. Die Jungs mögen Ahnung vom Musik machen haben, aber die Programmierer schlafen. Voll an der Zeit vorbei. Man, man, man, was für ein kompliziertes Gewerke! Voll in den 90ern hängen geblieben. Ich bleib mal auf dem Teppich und haue hier zwei Sterne raus, aber wer in diesem Genre mitspielen will, muss echt was anders raushauen. Altbacken, null innovativ, anstrengend... Echt zum Abhaken!

Super zum üben von Drum Grooves wenn man nicht nur zum Metronom spielen möchte sondern quasi eine einfacher Band braucht

Nice app with some great styles. Can we have a second volume please with more Rock styles, there are plenty to cover? I’m sure that would be popular? Latest update addresses a few bugs.

Not for non musicians
I used to play music apparently too long ago, couldn’t figure out what to do with it, glad I tried it for free, YouTube vids were no help. Rating based on that alone.
