About

SessionCodex keeps your song ideas and your mixes together, in a library folder you own. Capture an Idea Tap Record and play the riff, hum the melody or sing the lyric before it's gone. Pause and resume as often as you like, then save it with a title, a folder, a type and tags. Recording keeps going when the screen locks. Record in WAV or M4A. Every capture is saved as an audio file in the Captures folder of your library, in iCloud Drive or Dropbox, so it's on your other devices as soon as the folder syncs. Play It Back Captures play right away, with lock screen controls and AirPlay. In CarPlay, SessionCodex shows your Library and your Captures, so you can hear today's ideas on the drive home. Your Mixes, with SessionCodex for Mac Point SessionCodex for Mac at the same folder and your mixes appear on this device too: the latest mix of every project, by artist and album, with Recently Added on top. A mix downloads the first time you play it and stays, and a badge shows which mixes are downloaded. Captures you record here show up on your desktop, where you can file them into projects. Your Files, Your Folder No account and no sign-in. SessionCodex sends nothing to DTX Audio: your recordings and your library stay on this device and in the folder you choose, synced by iCloud Drive or Dropbox. The microphone is used only while you record. What You Need A folder in iCloud Drive or Dropbox. Recording and playing captures work on their own. Mixes in the Library tab come from SessionCodex for Mac, a separate app.
