Setup Code Vault

Keep the setup codes for your home devices somewhere you can find them again. Setup Code Vault brings your device names, setup credentials, label photos and notes together in a native iPhone and iPad app. Organise devices by home and room, then search by name, manufacturer or location when it is time to reconnect them. • Save HomeKit setup codes or other setup credentials. • Scan supported codes and text, photograph labels, or attach images and PDF files. • Keep your local vault encrypted and optionally require Face ID, Touch ID or your device passcode to open it. • Export and restore a versioned JSON backup. • Sync manually with iCloud and resolve conflicting changes explicitly. Free includes up to six devices. Family is a one-time purchase for unlimited device records and invitation-based shared vaults. There is no subscription. Each person joining a shared vault needs Family access; Apple purchase Family Sharing is enabled for the Family Lifetime product. An attachment can be up to 10 MiB and the encoded vault up to 45 MiB. Family removes the device-count limit, not these storage limits. Sync is manual: use Sync after editing on each device. JSON exports are unencrypted and contain your saved codes and attachments. Keep them private. The encrypted local vault and its device-only key do not migrate through device backup, so use iCloud sync or keep a separate export for recovery.
