Definitely Skewed Younger
This app idea is amazing in theory, poor in execution. I love the idea and think it’s so innovative and I even think the UI/UX experience is pretty good and easy to use.
I paid for 6 months on this app and did not renew because in the 6 months I only received 2 matches and 1 date. There were often weeks where I didn’t get any match options because they didn’t have anything in my age range which was like nearly a 20 year span (27-45).
I think it would be beneficial for an app so new to give ppl a 2 week trial to even see if there are people they want to match with.

This app should be called Indian only dating
No matter what algorithm I put in, there are way too many Indians on the app. Not saying it’s good or bad but the algorithm is def not working especially when users are paying for it. Maybe change your app name to Indian only dating so that would be less confusing
Cool idea in theory
I feel very much alienated using this app. I, a black male have set my preferences to be shown black and latinx women and have consistently been shown non women of color. I have yet to be shown a black woman in app and have come across maybe 2 latinx women. The feel of this app is very upscale and it seems like a cool idea but I'm don't really like the idea of paying a premium to be matched with women I'm not interested in. I don't really see this app working for me

What a scam
I’ve been on this app for almost 3 months - the only few guys I was able to view/match with have cancelled the day before the date with no explanation. Now the app is completely glitched out as when I try to view my selects and “standouts” each day they disappear before I am able to review/engage with any of them. I have reached out to support 3 times via text and email to resolve this and have not received any response. What a waste of money- good concept, extremely poor execution and failing app. 0/10 experience.

Disappointed/scam?
My best friend recommended this app to me in august. I thought the concept was great and was looking forward to trying it out. Fast forward to October, I’m still on the waiting list without any rationale. I would not recommend this app at all.
Please only set me up with matches!
Fantastic concept, I paid for membership because I really wanted to like this app since it's an amazing concept. so this pains me to write BUT - they have set me up twice with people I know for a fact I didn't say yes to. So it makes me feel awful for "canceling" on people I wasn't into in the first place. NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY.

First 3 weeks, 3 dates with no scheduling!
Within my first few weeks on Setup I went on 3 dates with 3 really nice guys. Seriously. And there was no scheduling, the tiniest bit of swiping, but mostly just showing up and having a great time. What a fresh new approach to dating. Don’t ever need the endless scroll and mindless chatter of other apps again, particulate won’t miss the dreaded boredom of waiting for someone to make a move after exchanging a text a day for 2 weeks. Setup is IT!!!!!

Saves so much time
Just went on my first setup date and it was such an easy seamless process! Made me realize how much time I’ve been wasting on other apps doing the small talk until we exchange numbers and then texting to make plans!! Great idea, hope they can keep scaling!
I can’t recommend this app
So this concept is great in theory. The execution is not.
It’s been over 3 weeks now and I have yet to get a single match. They only let you swipe on 5 people per day, and frequently I don’t swipe right on any of the options. When I reached out to the team, they said that the 5 per day limit was to make people be more deliberate and not swipe all day but it’s simply not enough choices if you are being selective. Especially if you’re absolutely going to go on a date with someone if you match, you’re going to want to be sure you want to invest that time.
Also if I send out a date invite, it seems to be ignored AND I get that guy in my swipes again so that’s confusing.
I paid for 3 months up front, which I’m unfortunately going to have to just chock up to a sunk cost since there are no refunds.
I understand it’s a startup, but it’s just another frustrating dating app. I do not recommend it but I hope they figure out a way to improve.

Application under review for over 2 months
I applied for the membership in late June, but it’s still under review even though I did everything that could speed up the application, including uploading my face photo.
Seems kind of like a scam to get you to spend more
It’s a good idea and concept. However, I’m now on it for 2 weeks and continue to receive the same people to like but received no setup. So I paid for like 10 date invites which isn’t inexpensive to send invites as a woman to men on my stand outs. No one has accepted which I understand they have no control over. I have AI matching turned on so you’d think they would want someone’s first few weeks to be enjoyable. I’ve reached out twice to them once via email and their text number with no response. I cancelled the renewal subscription and will not renew unless they respond and give me setups. I won’t waste money to receive an excuse that I didn’t get matches. AI matching should still work. It’s one thing if the person doesn’t accept the date but they aren’t even sending date options to accept or decline.

Paid for a month, haven’t been on a date.
I paid for the 3 month intro to try out a new dating experience and still haven’t been set up. Each week, I’ve received “we couldn’t match you, but we’ll prioritize you for next week!”
It’s a cool concept but it seems like they’re still working on some bugs — because the one time I was set up. It was with someone very outside my age preferences.
I’m sure this app works for some people, but has definitely not worked for me. Im going to ride it out until my paid three months are out - I’ll be happy to update my review if my experience changes.

Hi! Thanks for the feedback. As with any dating app, we can't guarantee you'll have matches (two people mutually "liking" each other) but we're doing everything we can to get you IRL with people you're into. Without matches, we're not able to set you up unless you have AI matching turned on. We just added a feature where you can see new matches that you'll be setup with in the future. The age issue bug you ran into was squared away – just make sure you toggle "dealbreaker" for age within your dating preferences.

This app has been such an awesome discovery! It was super fun and easy to get started and the matches were so refreshing and on point! The waitlist took a week or so, but it was 100% worth it. Sharing with my single friends in the city for sure :)

This app is soooo much better than all the dating apps out there! I was tired of the endless swiping and pointless conversations. It’s nice to go on actual dates without wasting time trying to force a connection via texting. Highly recommend to anyone who’s serious about dating in NY

I applied weeks ago to be “verified”, reached out for information and no response. Crickets. My inclination is that it’s a scam.
