Hangs
The game barely works on my IPhone 15 pro :( keeps hanging. Also the controls are at different locations from the original
Okay so I have a few words
I downloaded the first Shadow Blade and played it to completion. It is hands down the best plat-former game I’ve yet to find on a mobile device. However, Shadow Blade Reload is lack luster in terms of enjoyment. This is simply because it does not run well whatsoever. Every level lags to the point it almost isn’t even playable. Some levels are just copied from the first game and like I said it is frustrating when it doesn’t run well. The jump button almost has a sticky key attached to it so when I go to slide down walls sometimes the jump button pushes itself. As far as visuals go it’s pretty solid and improved from the first game as long as you don’t touch your screen. I hope the devs can really touch this game up because I would really like to play it the same way I did the first game.

Many bugs
The game has performance issues even in iPad M2. Sometimes I get a black screen… doesn't work and I wast my money with that…
Beware of shady business with developer and Apple. Does not work on newer devices.
I never write reviews really but can’t help it this time. It’ll be worth it if it saves even one person the frustration. Bottom line I believe this is a really cool game. It’s fun and has really nice graphics and art style in my opinion. It’s just that it would be great if it actually worked on newer devices. I have 13 Pro Max and it’s basically unplayable. It freezes and glitches BADLY. You may get lucky for one round just to find it keeps happening over and over again. 90% of the time it’s straight up unplayable. What’s more is that it doesn’t fill the entire screen, it’s 16x9 and hard to see and the notification/status bar (time network status and battery level) don’t ever disappear.
I can understand if it simply isn’t profitable for the developer to update the app for modern devices but the bare minimum right thing to do would be to add a disclaimer in the description stating that. Simple really. But then they would squeeze out as many dollars as possible regardless of the dishonesty. Adding insult to injury, Apple denied my refund request even though I immediately uninstalled it and submitted a refund request with 24 hours. “My request “did not meet the conditions for a refund.” If a broken app doesn’t meet the conditions, what will? Do your research before to buy old apps. I learned the frustrating way. Apple will gladly sell you duds and bold face deny refund. Shame.

Too small
I can’t see what’s going on. The graphics are too small.
