Good game
I don’t like that you have to pay for the full version. I just want to enjoy and play the game. That’s why I’m my rating is pretty low.

The game is great and all, but you have to pay $3.99 to play past level 6.

I like this idea shadow and light almost like Mario bros but I feel like the game is a little too easy but still fun and worth it
Great game but could use a few changes
I really like the game but could be changed a bit:
1. Maybe allow the player to change their character by changing the colour of the cloak thing that the little figure wears. Also allow- ing the player to make the figure’s shoes different.
2. Allowing the player to have a name for the figure.

This is good
Hi I actually love this game it is so fun but I thought maybe you could add skins that you could buy for moon pieces or just buy them for 1.99$ but otherwise it’s a really good game maybe you can add another boss or two but still this is probably the best game I’ve ever played and I bought the full version and it would be cool if it got a pt 2 like super cat tales did but yeah this is the best game ever you should definitely download this

Why it’s not 5 star
So most of this persons games are free which confused me when I played this game and it said I needed around 2 dollars to buy it which I did other than that it is a good game just wish I didn’t need 2 dollars to continue playing

I liked the game, I saw it on my weekly articles so I downloaded it and it was fun, But the only problem is paying money to play the full game😟

All the reviews on this game are really dramatic.
This game is pretty solid. I'm not gonna glaze it like some of the reviews, but the other half of the reviews are hating on it like crazy for nothing. There are definitely some collision glitches that can make progress frustrating, but it really doesn't ruin the game. The platforming is clever and well thought out and switching between foreground and background is always a fun gimmick in platformers. Overall I really don't understand why tweaking so hard, its a good game, give it a try.

Underrated on the ratings here's why
I don't understand why the 12 previous ratings were not all 5 stars this game is very well made and it's fun and the soundtrack is second to none that's how good it is and the gfx do t even get me started and how flawless the 16 and 32 bit pixel merging is on this one it's flawlessly done good job dev did u use Gdevelop to create this?? The character does look like a default from that game engine hahhaa

update it’s been a month and most of the bugs i listed have still not been fixed read the review
The Game is good but there are two bugs one is on the start of level four were the screen starts to shake violently and only stops when i leave the area you spawn in. And two the buttons to move left and right don’t always respond correctly overall the game is fun but please fix the bugs that I listed yours truly gamer boy 231 😊. update: i found another bug. in the first boss battle when you defeat the money bag boss the game is supposed to give you a piece of the moon but when i beat him it doesn’t give me the moon piece. i am the type of gamer to get every single secret in a game but until this bug is fixed I won’t be able to get the good ending of the game for this reason I’ll have to change my rating from four stars to three. again developer if you are reading this PLEASE fix this bugs only then I’ll give your game a five star rating. Last update hopefully: okay all of the levels that feature the jungle forest type environment are buggy the screen shakes when starting a level that has that type of environment also all four of the bosses are buggy I thought only the first boss was but nope all four of them don’t give you moon pieces when you defeat them I’m playing on an iPad pro with a m2 apple chip I’m starting to get tired of writing so I won’t say this again please fix these bugs until then I’m bumping my rating down to two stars developer please release a update to fix the bugs i mentioned in this once small now turned into a paragraph of a review please 🙏. Update the moon piece bug in the first boss is fixed 🎉 but the other bosses are still buggy. Update it’s been a month and some of the glitches I listed have not been fixed changing my rating to one star until fixed.

Reviewing the game
Great game, I checked out the YouTube video you posted and it turns out I made a great choice! Though there's a lag spike on iOS that happens randomly only in this game. I love the inclusion of going into the 2nd layer of the background which is the shadow which makes the game more fun! There's also a bug that makes the forest level camera flicker up and down and it can affect our eyes, a bug where you can swim on the floor aka the swim animation and you can swim while on shadow mode
