About
English that finally comes out of your mouth.
Shadowly is a trainer built for one thing only: shadowing — the practice method trusted by interpreters and serious learners. Listen, mimic, and record with a science-based 7-step flow that trains your ears and mouth at the same time.
WHY SHADOWING?
Instead of translating in your head, you learn to catch natural English sounds — linking, reductions, rhythm — and reproduce them instantly.
THE 7-STEP METHOD
1. Just listen — grasp the flow without the script
2. Mumble along — chase the sounds quietly
3. Read in sync — speak with the audio
4. Know the words — clear every unknown with a tap
5. Shadow the sound — all-in on stress and rhythm
6. Shadow the meaning — finish with meaning in mind
7. Record & coach — get AI feedback
AI COACHING THAT HEARS THE DETAILS
Record your take and get instant, specific feedback: a reproduction rate, pronunciation scores, and one clear tip — with a model pronunciation to copy.
MATERIALS MADE JUST FOR YOU
Chat with the AI about what you want to practice — a meeting, a trip, an interview — and get an original script with audio in about 30 seconds. Or start from the built-in starter pack.
MAKE IT A HABIT
Streaks, daily quests, a friendly buddy, and a progress dashboard that shows your scores climbing. Adjustable playback speed grows with you.
IN YOUR LANGUAGE
The app speaks 10 languages — feedback and word lists arrive in yours.
Your audio and text are sent to OpenAI and Microsoft Azure only to power pronunciation feedback and material generation. See our Privacy Policy for details.

You can now hear the sounds on your feedback screen. - Play the model audio and your own recording without leaving the screen - Listen to just the part each point refers to, on both sides - Show or hide the translation of the script with one tap We also reworked how feedback is generated. Points that contradicted each other about the same words, and duplicated points, are fixed - and model pronunciations now reflect natural linking instead of word-by-word forms.
