Good App, But some bug

Hello,

I hope you’re doing well.

A few months ago, when the internet was heavily restricted in Iran and only a small number of protocols were working, your app was one of the very few that worked reliably. I really appreciated it.

However, things have changed. I now have several subscription links with excellent configurations that work flawlessly in other apps, but they don’t perform well in your app. Pinterest and many Cloudflare-protected websites simply won’t load.

I was hoping this app could become as reliable as V2RayNG. At the moment, it still has some compatibility issues that I hope will be addressed in future updates. The app has great potential, and I’d love to see it improve.

Serious Memory Leak in the macOS Packet Tunnel

Shadowrocket 2.2.90 has a serious memory leak in its macOS Network Extension. After 11 days of continuous operation, the MacPacketTunnel process grew to a 5.68 GB memory footprint with more than 12.3 million heap allocations. Approximately 5 GB had been pushed into swap, causing severe system lag on a 16 GB Intel iMac running macOS 26.5.2.

The problem was not caused by network buffers: they occupied only 224 KB. Almost all the accumulated memory was in MALLOC_SMALL and MALLOC_TINY.

Quitting and reopening the Shadowrocket interface did not restart the tunnel extension—the old process remained active with all its allocated memory. Only terminating both Shadowrocket and MacPacketTunnel properly restarted it. Afterward, the tunnel’s footprint dropped from 5.68 GB to just 5.5 MB, confirming that memory had accumulated inside the long-running extension.

Please fix this memory leak and ensure the packet-tunnel extension is properly terminated or cleaned up when Shadowrocket disconnects or restarts. The VPN functionality is useful, but this issue makes long-running use on macOS unreliable.
