About

Shagunly helps you track shagun — the cash and gifts exchanged at Indian weddings, festivals, and celebrations — and makes sense of the reciprocity behind it. Every family keeps this record somehow: a notebook, a spreadsheet, a memory that starts to blur after enough weddings. Shagunly replaces that with a simple, private ledger built specifically for how Indian families actually give and receive. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Log every gift given or received — cash, physical gifts, or both — with the person, occasion, and date • See at a glance who's given you more than you've given them, and who you still owe • Link entries to occasions like weddings, birthdays, and festivals to keep everything organized by event • Hosting your own family function? Mark it as your own occasion and log gifts received from your guests • Quickly add several entries in a row after a big event, with details carried over automatically • Get reminded ahead of upcoming occasions — with a note on what that person gave you last time WHY IT'S DIFFERENT Most expense trackers think in categories and totals. Shagunly thinks in relationships — because that's what shagun actually is. The app is built around the give-and-take between people, not just a running balance. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Your entries are yours. Shagunly uses secure sign-in (Apple, Google, or email) and your data stays tied to your account only. Built for the reality of Indian celebrations — where the gift matters, but so does remembering it.

What's New in Shagunly

Family sharing, and a lot of little things that make every entry faster. • Family sharing — create or join a family with a share code to keep one gift book together. Everyone sees what's logged; only the person who added a record can change it, and others can simply ask. • Simpler occasions — just name it. "Priya's Wedding," "Dad's Birthday" — we figure out the rest. • Camera — snap a photo of a gift right from the app. • Optional gift values — note what a gift was worth, or leave it blank when you're not sure. • Quicker edits — long-press any entry to delete it. • Runs on more iPhones, including older models. Every gift, remembered.
