Shantae is always a good game
The game is great. Plays really well and it’s always updated. I do wish they’d update the resolution because it’s really blurry and bad in comparison to the switch version.
Boss battle with risky boots
I love this game sm but it keeps crashing at the boss battle with risky boots after i fight the monster boat she sends my way then she takes all my power and then i have to fight the evil version of shantae it crashes all the time right when i click to start the fight also im playing on iphone and i cant rlly play anywhere else so i hope theres a way it can be fixed please

Needs fixing but it’s fun
I love the game but every time I get the final boss it glitches and kicks me off the game. I thought if I collected all the items it would stop but it still keeps on glitching me out of the game

Everything works perfectly fine! Except.. for some reason i cant hear the sound effects…
amazing game but one bug
this is a great game, love the graphics and gameplay. however, what really frustrates me is when i get to the end and defeat risky’s boat, my game boots me off and i cant fight the finale boss fight. im stuck here and its really tedious having to navigate through the dark maze and defeat the 2nd to last boss fight before it completely shuts down. is there any way to fix this?

Frequent crashes mar a fun game
Fun game marred by frequent crashes and sometimes frustrating touch controls. Unable to complete game due to it always crashing once you get to final boss.

well it might be weird that i’m playing such an old game so far in the future but i liked the Shantae and the Seven Sirens game so i decided to try this one too. i liked it a lot and it was so much fun until i got to the boss battle, battled with Risky, and then the game crashed. i’ve offloaded the app and come back to it many times to try and finish it and it just crashes every single time. all i want is to be able to finish this game! might be a big ask for the company to fix a bug on such an old game and all the other reviews that i see on here are super old but please if y’all see this i would love it if this big could be fixed!!! otherwise great game.

Game keeps crashing
Why does my game keep crashing when im about to fight the doppelgänger? You cant save progress by that point so thats really annoying.

After the first boss I crash every time the screen refreshes going into another room. Seeing how many unanswered complaints about this issue the devs don’t care.
Great game, horrible port
It gets 2 stars because the game is really fun - but the port is unplayable. It crashed about 20 times, and eventually crashed at the beginning of the final battle CONSISTENTLY to where I can’t even finish the game. It’s horrible

Would be great if developer could update it support aspect ratio of modern devices and resolution. Otherwise it’s perfect as it is! You don’t get many such quality platformers this days on mobile devices. Shantae is classics, played on Nintendo Switch but it’s even better on iPad

update: idk what I did but it starts now, a decent but dated port without widescreen support

Started crashing after iOS update
I love this game I completed this game on the DSiWare version on the 3DS and I got the iOS version in 2021 when I updated my iPhone to iOS 16 it was working until I updated my iPhone today and now the game started crashing whenever I open the app. Can you update the app so then it won’t crash on the newer iOS software?

Great but a bug has me stuck
I really like the game and I would recommend it, but I ran into a bug at the Hypno barons place at that puzzle where you have to have two of those eye things looking down while the other two have to be looking up, I completed the puzzle but I ran into a bug where the door won’t open, I don’t know if it’s different for player to player since I was using a walk-through as I was really new, but I’m really confused as to why the door is bugging. I’ve tried everything I can to fix it but nothings working

Please make this work with tvOS
I love the new version of this series on Apple Arcade, but could you please make it so this is a native apple tv app as over AirPlay this is laggy and not great, I know the update is two years ago, but after playing the new version I discovered this one and so far would prefer it on a big screen.
Fun and amazing game but..
Boss fights are wack, especially the last one because they were designed with a D-pad in mind. The touch pad is abysmal for boss fights, the only thing bugging me about this, besides that game play is great.
I like Shantae more than anybody in the whole wide universe
Hi wayforward once again (am a HUGE fan I even want to work there some time) and so Shantae is my favorite series I can’t stop playing,watching and listing to the music of Shantae I just wish that all the games where on iOS for $2.00 includes Shantae,Shantae and the pirates curse and half genie hero I just can’t stop Shantae I don’t want it to end and mabe in a few years I’ll help you and join your company,wayforward technology’s inc.
