About

Your workouts count minutes and calories. Shaper answers a different question: which muscles did those workouts actually train, and what did you skip? Shaper reads your workouts from Apple Health, from your Apple Watch or any fitness app, plus workouts you time in Shaper on your iPhone, and maps them onto 15 muscle groups, front and back. See your week at a glance, then fill the gaps. No Apple Watch needed. A BODY MAP OF YOUR WEEK Each muscle group is trained, light or missed, including upper abs, lower abs and obliques. Switch between today, the last 3 days and the last 7 days. Tap any muscle to see which workouts worked it. EVERY WORKOUT IN APPLE HEALTH Running, cycling, rowing, elliptical, swimming, yoga, HIIT, dance, racket and team sports, and more, each shown with its Apple name. Strength training? Pick what you're training as you start (chest, back, squats, deadlift and more), or tell Shaper afterwards, and the map shows exactly those muscles. EFFORT COUNTS A hard session counts for more than an easy one, based on your heart rate and energy when your watch records them. Short beginner sessions still light up the muscles they worked. FILL THE GAPS The Plan tab suggests your next sessions and how long each should be, based on what you missed. Tap Start: Shaper times the workout on your iPhone, or starts it on your Apple Watch if you wear one. Or start straight from the "Needs attention" list under the map. YOUR BODY SHAPE From your weight, height and body fat (from a smart scale, or entered by hand) Shaper estimates your body type and gives a simple three-step plan toward balanced, with weekly goals it tracks for you. These are estimates, not a diagnosis. ON YOUR WRIST, IF YOU WEAR A WATCH The Shaper Apple Watch app shows your body map and starts suggested workouts. YOUR HISTORY Your workouts over 30 days, 90 days, 180 days, a year or all time, with how consistently each muscle group was trained. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Shaper has no servers. Your health data stays on your iPhone and Apple Watch. No ads, no analytics, no tracking, and nothing sold. Settings > "Erase everything" removes everything the app stored. Shaper is a fitness guide, not a medical device. No exercise can remove fat from one spot; Shaper shows where fat is estimated to sit and suggests balanced training. Check with your doctor before changing your diet or starting a new exercise plan. Requires iPhone with iOS 15 or later. Apple Watch (watchOS 10 or later) optional. Questions: privacy@xctra.org

1.1.0

No Apple Watch needed. • Start a workout on your iPhone: Shaper times it and updates your muscle map. With an Apple Watch, it still starts on the Watch. • Pick the exercises you're training as you start (chest, back, squats, deadlift and more), so the right muscles count. • Start straight from the "Needs attention" list. • Enter your weight by hand if your scale doesn't sync. • A short tour shows new users around. Replay it any time from Settings.
