Ongoing payout & support issues (1+ year) — would give 0 stars if possible
I would rate zero stars if I could.
As a practising therapist/provider on SHARE, I’m leaving this review due to persistent operational issues that have been ongoing for over a year, specifically around payout reliability and support responsiveness.
For more than a year, I’ve had to initiate follow-ups to receive payment. Even when payout timelines are communicated, I’ve still needed to chase for confirmation and status updates. In addition, invoices are not consistently delivered via email, which creates unnecessary administrative friction for clinicians who require proper documentation for record-keeping.
What makes this especially concerning is the lack of timely response over WhatsApp (MIA for more than one or more business working days). When a platform takes commission (in my case, approximately $30 per client), there should be baseline operational standards—particularly for clinician payouts and support. A platform should reduce administrative load for providers, not increase it.
In private practice, payment workflows are clear and traceable. On SHARE, the lack of payout visibility, inconsistent invoicing, and weak support response creates avoidable stress and administrative burden for clinicians.
For clinicians considering joining SHARE: clarify the payout timeline in writing, confirm how invoices are issued and tracked, and understand what response time you can realistically expect from support—especially for payout-related matters.
As of the time I’m writing this review, I still have not received my payment, and I have received no response from the team despite multiple follow-ups.

Inconsistent quality of counsellors
Tried to see a therapist for anxiety and stress about my health, but he 1) tried to medically diagnose my physical symptoms, which I don't think was appropriate for the situation or that he is qualified to do; 2) told me to get a health checkup because (and i quote verbatim) "people might feel healthy and then collapse and have cancer"; and 3) told me to get a health insurance because hospital bills are SO expensive. I had to stop the session 20 minutes in just because of how bad it was. The field I chose was "illness"; I can't imagine someone who is struggling with an actual illness being told these things from a therapist. This was literally the worst experience I've had with a mental health professional.
I'm giving it 2 stars instead of 1 only because last year when I used Share for stress and anxiety, I got a therapist who was at least competent with her job. After just 2 uses, I'm shocked and disappointed with the inconsistent quality of therapists/counsellors here.
