Sharkeys rewards
I can’t stand sharkeys new rewards program it is a giant pain to have to not use your phone number and to keep receipts and have to upload them . This is to in my opinion prevent people from earning points . Definitely dont like it and have been going to other places because of this policy . Feels like trying to cheat customer .

Why the greed??
Why in holy h3ll is ordering online costing more than calling into the store for a pickup???? Either way it’s a pickup. And ordering online frees up the employee to focus on customers in the store. Stop being greedy Sharky’s!!!
The App is not Flexible
I’d like a burrito with lettuce added. The app won’t allow for that change. Another example that I can’t add cheese to the tacos.

This app combines registration across multiple restaurants, such as Sharky’s. Meaning you’ll need to use the same email address for any restaurant that uses the same login service, or use a different credit card for each restaurant. It does not allow the same credit card to be linked to different email addresses.
So if there were ever a data breach, you wouldn’t know which restaurant it originated from.

I purchased a side guacamole with my burrito and I received about 3 broken chips to scope it up with.

Honestly, much less likely to go to Sharky’s. You already charge a premium for Mexican food. Let me use my phone number for rewards.
Redeeming Rewards
Tried for the first time to redeem my free Wagyu taco and $7 in points and it was easier than I thought it would be. I didn’t have a choice to order in - only pickup - but I’m sure I’ll be able to work it all out when I get to the Northridge venue!
The new app is terrible
Way to many useless options. Miss the old rewards program. Unclear why it was changed. Seems like a waste. Interface is a bit of a mess.

I don’t know how many more updates there is gonna be until there’s actually Apple Pay on the app. Every time this app even gets an update it seems to make things more annoying. Love and respect the food but ordering on the app. Low-key sucks.
Made it worse?
This app was fine. I often used it to scan my account when I would order in the restaurant. Easy. Now if I order in the restaurant they have to print the receipt, and then I have to scan the receipt. They made the whole experience worse. The only rationale is they want you to use the app to order. Annoying!

Review is for the updated app. Apple Pay is gone, my login, is gone. The app was perfectly fine as is.
Missing food, corrupt app
I ordered via the app and added a salad. After paying via the app my salad was not on the final order but charged for it. Not happy 😡
Too Much Personal Info Required
For ordering pickup, most restaurants just want your name, email and phone number.
Sharky’s also REQUIRES your address and BIRTHDAY! Huh?
