I deleted this app. Over and over the app now tries to reinstall claiming the developer needs to update. If you click support it says “website disabled.” DO NOT INSTALL THIS APP!!!
Fix your app or take it offline allready

And I still get an error notice, every time I download anything else from the app store that says, “The maker of this app needs to update it. Do you want to delete the app?” I have deleted this demon app over and over again without success! Please do something about this immediately!!!

Stopped working with iOS update
The application stopped working after my phone updated to iOS 14.6. I now get an error message saying the app needs updated. I used it a lot. Any plans to update?

I have to be honest - this is my very first EVER review of an app!
It’s 4 AM and couldn’t sleep so I decided to set up the (used) Sharp Aquos TV that a friend gave me a couple days ago.
The bummer: no remote!
Arghh...so I downloaded this app (without much faith). I opened it - went to the set up instructions - which, by the way, look confusing...BUT THEY AREN’T! I followed exactly what it said - and then tried the ‘input’ button just to see if it worked AND IT DID!!!
Great APP and great setup instructions guys!!! Please know that this is the first and probably my last review - but that’s how shocked I was that it worked! Lol 👍🏻

This app could be doing anything
With the exception of controlling the TV - it definitely doesn’t do that.

I am no stranger to networking and internet component setups , but I’ll be damned if I can get this one to work at all on my Sharp Aquos TV! I even manually set my TV to the ip addy in the example! 192.168.1.110 lol, NADA, nothing, doesn’t do a thing!
No way to change IP
The setup button does help configure anything just gives directions, but doesn’t consider my TV is on a different subnet.
Message to developer let me tell you my IP don’t hardcode to 192.168.1.1

Actually Works
Of all the Sharp Aquos apps out there this one actually works. Not the greatest user experience but it functions to turn on the TV, change inputs and operate menus, which is all I need. Hasn’t been updated in 4 years but at least it works with iOS11 or greater. Thats what killed the previous app I used, Mike’s Remote.

This remote does not always connect to my TV; however I do not have the same issue with other remote apps I have used. If you're looking for a reliable remote app for your mobile device, consider other options.
