Shavua

Your shul. Your Jewish week. Shavua brings community events, local Jewish times and Torah learning into one calm, practical app. YOUR COMMUNITY, AT A GLANCE Choose a supported shul and see its published services, classes and community events. Open an event for available dates, times, locations and registration links. Browse the Hebrew month and pick a day to see its listed events. PREPARE FOR SHABBAT See the weekly Torah portion, local candle-lighting time and Havdalah. Open the Shabbat details for Friday and Saturday times and available reading references. Adjust timing preferences in Settings. A QUIET SHABBAT SCREEN With Shabbat mode enabled, two gently burning candles and the local Shabbat end time replace the usual screens from candle lighting until Havdalah. Shavua pauses refreshes during this time. Load local times before going offline so the saved Shabbat boundary is available. LEARN THROUGH THE WEEK Read the weekly Torah portion in English, explore its summary and follow your place in the yearly Torah cycle. The Learn tab also brings together the day's Jewish times and available links to Daily Chumash, Tanya Yomi, Daily Rambam and Daf Yomi. KNOW WHAT'S COMING Browse Jewish holidays and open their details for dates, available local times, candle-lighting guidance and explanations of preparation, rituals and daily observance. KEEP IT CLOSE Add a Home Screen or Lock Screen widget for Jewish dates and Shabbat times at a glance. Saved times, events and previously loaded readings remain available offline; fresh information and external links require an internet connection. No account. No ads. Choose a city manually or allow location access for local times. Community listings currently cover selected US shuls; Jewish times and learning can be used elsewhere. Event details come from supported shuls' published sources and can change. Confirm important plans with the organizer. Jewish practice guidance is educational; ask your rabbi about personal questions and differences in custom.
