Request appointments?
The description of the app in the App Store says you can request appointments with the app. I’ve clicked on everything and the closest it comes to fulfilling this claim is using the “send message “ feature, which simply opens your email app, and if you request an appointment in this manner you will get a response telling you to call the main number to schedule an appointment. Big disappointment. After speaking with an SAC employee on the failed feature, I am told that the business decided to disable this feature to the public.
You can create a profile for each pet, but beware of two glitches. One, if you ask the business to sync their database with the app, this will create a profile for each pet, so if you create a profile on your own you will end up with multiple profiles for the same pet. I asked them to delete the one I created but they have not yet. That leads to the second glitch: there is no way for the user to delete profiles. We all know what eventually occurs to our pets, and not being able to delete the profile means you will be reminded of your absent pet every time you open the app. Some people may enjoy that but many people would prefer the ability to delete a pet’s profile. I suggested this to the SAC employee I spoke with. She said she would relay the suggestion to the IT employee.
The app does offer a “three click” method to call the business (the description says “one click”) and a nice way to share your pets’ pictures with other users. It is a good social media pet app.
