What's New in Shedams
1.1.2
November 4, 2026
Home is now your feed, and the whole app is more accurate. YOUR FEED - Home is your feed, and League has a tab of its own. - Post something: write a note, add a photo or a GIF. - Reply to a post, and reply to a reply. - Tag anyone with @, and they will hear about it. - React with any of the seven emojis on posts and on replies. - Mute, block or report a post, and choose who can reply to yours. Blocking someone now stops all contact between you. - The bell opens your notifications, and a notification about a post now opens that post. MORE ACCURATE, MORE HONEST - Distance is more accurate. When GPS is poor, your step count carries the distance instead of a few scattered metres. - Time spent in a vehicle is never counted as activity, and a drive no longer pads a walk. - Hills count. Elevation gain now comes from your iPhone's barometer. - GPS records a fix a second while you move and eases off when you are still, for sharper routes and longer battery. - If the app closes mid-session, that dead time counts as a pause rather than exercise. - Steps are reconciled when a session ends, so a slow-starting step counter no longer costs you steps. - Calories on watch sessions are corrected. Some workouts reported wildly high figures. - Grading is fairer: more effort can never earn a lower grade than less effort on the same session. - Your history says what is waiting to be counted, what counted, and what did not. YOUR APPLE WATCH - Your watch picks a session back up if the app is interrupted mid-workout, and a session started on your iPhone no longer leaves the watch out of it. - The watch reports what it measured when a session ends early, and says why if its step counter went quiet. CHALLENGES AND COMMUNITIES - Connect has its own tabs, and shows the private challenges and communities you can reach. - A challenge with no goal shows what you actually covered instead of an empty bar. - A community can find the challenges written for it. - The League shows its sponsors and ranks by the average per member. SETTING UP - Setup is yours to finish when you like. Skip it, come back to it, and earn a bonus when you complete it. ALSO IN THIS VERSION - Clearer contrast throughout, so notification titles, teal labels and the like count read properly in dark mode. - Large text no longer pushes buttons off the screen. - Faster to start, steadier while tracking, and several crashes fixed.
