What's New in Sheepshead

1.1.0

August 14, 2026

The Called Ace and Jack of Diamonds tables are now always open and never end. Walk up whenever you want, take a seat, and play — any empty chairs are filled by AI, and when real people arrive, they take those chairs over. You can join a Sheepshead table that's already in progress by taking an AI seat; you're dealt in at the start of the next hand. EUCHRE, ONLINE Euchre is no longer local-only. There's an always-open ranked Euchre table (4-handed, partners, first to 10), plus casual and private Euchre tables you can create yourself. Euchre keeps its own rating and its own leaderboard, separate from Sheepshead. A REBUILT LOBBY The lobby now shows what's actually happening: every open table with its rules, whether it's ranked or casual, and a dot for each seat — blue for a person, gold for an AI seat you can take, hollow for empty. Filter by Ranked, Casual or Scheduled, or start something yourself from one Create a game sheet that lays out every option side by side. RANKED PLAY THAT CAN'T BE GAMED Quitting a ranked Sheepshead table can never improve your rating. If you leave, the hand is played out and the real result is recorded for you — so bailing on a bad hand gets you exactly what staying would have, and never better. AFTER THE GAME The post-game review now opens properly when you leave a table early instead of dropping you somewhere else, and it shows the hands you actually played rather than someone else's. Guests are no longer shown a rating change that was never theirs. ON YOUR PHONE - No more green stripe under the Dynamic Island, or above the home indicator. - Game Setup's heading no longer slides under the clock as you scroll. - Sideways at the table, the pop-ups turn with the table instead of lying across it — help, quick reference, hand history, the info drawer and notifications. - Table chat stays on screen and closes when you tap away. - Pinch-zoom no longer leaves the table stuck zoomed in. - The main button on the post-game screen stays put instead of scrolling away. - Table rules wrap properly on smaller phones, and the seat key is readable.
