Fun, despite many flaws
Enjoy, but prepare yourself for a couple infuriating flaws:
1. Way too many granny hands, pickers going alone, and getting dealt garbage and misdeals for 15 hands in a row.
2. Simulated players who don’t know how to schmear and who are happy to let the picker keep the lead.
3. If you’re NOT the picker, the partner seems to always have whichever big queens that the picker lacks, and the called suit always walks.
4. If you ARE the picker, the partner has bupkis and the called suit lead never walks, because Sally, who passed, is sitting on enough trump to nuke a hurricane.
Other than those things, which will occasionally make you want to throw your phone into traffic, the game is lovely, and I cannot stop playing it.

Realistic Wisconsin sheepshead
With this app it took me 2 weeks to really get a perfect understanding of the game. Now I play with real cards once a week.
Fun but glitches
A few bugs where the system glitches and deals 10 cards and pop ups keep coming constantly. Fun to play though!
Locks up
When asked "rate this game" and one option is "don't ask ever again" is like telling the sun not to shine. Because they will ask again.Best game available, but doesn't say a lot. Locks up and have to uninstall to be able to play resetting all stats... Would love to see what the hands are when everyone passes!!! So you can tell who Mauered

Frustrating Flaws
The inability to turn off doublers breaks the game. The AI will inexplicably go for doublers and turn the game into a coin flip. The AI is also a terrible mauer which results in the player needing to wait for gramma hands

Weird flaws after playing several games in a row
I noticed a strange flaw that has happened more than once. After playing 3 or more consecutive games the queen of clubs has been played by the AI in a hand and in the same round also showed up as one of the cards buried by an AI in the blind. Impossible and aggravating. Its especially noticeable because this is the highest trump. It may be happening with cards too but that’s less obvious and I suspect if I played more I’d probably start spotting it.

How many 6-trump 120-pt hands in a game? 4!
There is ZERO randomness in this game. It is statistically near-zero chance of having four queens and two jacks, much less multiple hands within a single game. Time to delete, such an utter waste.

Not enough bold pickers - way too many passes; otherwise, it’s pretty good
What?!?
I get that it’s not easy to make this game into an app. But why would you make it so that any player would bury Trump. So many times other players are burying a high Queen and a Jack. It’s pointless and it ruins the game. Makes this unplayable.

I can’t believe that the partner plays trump (not the JD) in front of the picker! You’d be chastised for that move.

Not realistic
Only way to win this game is to have all four queens. Other players don’t know game. Through off wrong cards. Don’t push the picker.

Make it so it’s an online version so you can play with friends online!
Needs Improvement
Please work on coding so that when you want to pause or end the game it has a way to shut off the app. Currently I have to shut down my iPhone to get out of the game.

The game makes moves that a good human player would not.
Getting disappointed!!
I really enjoyed this game at first, but lately I’m frustrated. It was posted before that the computer doesn’t know when to play a counter trump verses it’s highest one as a partner. Also, after playing several games, I notice the fact that you have to re-deal a lot or the players elect to play a leister.

Not so smart
Ive tried three different apps they all play stupid moves
Fun game, dumb AI
It’s a fun game, but the AI doesn’t seem to play by a lot of the conventions you would think could be programmed in. Still, it’s the best of the sheepshead games out there.
Terrible
Very frustrating game to play. Don't waste your time. The computer has, of course, no common sense and will play the wrong card almost every single time.
Horrible, just horrible
Other players don’t “know” how to play wisely. Partner won’t lead highest trump. Also, when it’s late in a game and one player’s score is +30, you and the dealer’s score is -22, the dealer will choose a leaster instead of doubler. Annoying.
Fix this and maybe I’ll try it next year. For now, I’ll delete it and try another one.
