What's New in Sheetly
1.4.0
October 20, 2026
This update is for the night before rehearsal, when you have new music and not much time. Scanning is back to its clean, simple self. When a piece runs over more than one page, tap Add a page. Up to four pages come back as one score. When a page names more than one instrument, like "Trombone / Baritone", or none at all, Sheetly asks which part is yours, so the right sound plays from the first note. In a duet or a piano piece, Tracks lets you mute one line or one hand. Sheetly can remind you the day before rehearsal or a lesson, with your piece ready to play in one tap. Pick the days and the time in Settings, under Reminders. Never at night, and never more than one a day. The first time you hear your page, there's one clear way on, and Back doesn't drop you somewhere you didn't expect any more. Small cards now drop down from the top of the screen when something is done: a scan finished, the coach answered, a recording saved. Tap one and you're there. The panels that slide up from the bottom follow your finger now and close as fast as you flick them. Switching the language is a quick fade instead of a jump. Trying Pro? On a few afternoons Sheetly sends a short note with something worth scanning, so the free days go to real music. And if you had Pro before, there's a come-back offer waiting in the app. Guitar dead notes (the x noteheads) play their pitch now, short and soft, instead of a clap. Plus a lot of small fixes. My favourite: if you have Pro, you won't see a paywall anywhere any more. Sorry to everyone who did.
