Why I built this app
I built Shelf Cinema because the best movie discoveries have always come from people. A recommendation from a friend, finding someone with similar taste, or seeing a film that stays with someone long after they watched it feels more meaningful than simply browsing titles.
Shelf Cinema was created as a place for film lovers to collect, share, and discover movies together through curated shelves, reviews, profiles, and conversations around cinema. I wanted the experience to feel thoughtful, creative, and visually inspired by the culture surrounding film itself.
The goal is to make discovering movies feel personal again and to build a community centered around a shared love of cinema.

A fun and helpful way to discover new films and connect with other movie lovers. You can build your own film shelves, watch lists, watch together (with friends) lists, and socialize. Theres a lot of unique features on this app to explore and there are intuitive ways to find that film that you've been looking for without knowing how to look.
