About
Shelfnook is a simple, fast inventory of the books you own at home. Scan the barcode on the back cover and the title, author, translator, publisher, year and page count fill in by themselves from Google Books and Open Library. Choose the bookcase and shelf as you save, and never search shelf by shelf again.
If you like, share your library with friends: see who has which book, borrow from each other, and remember who took which of your books.
HIGHLIGHTS
• Add by barcode: point the camera at the book and the ISBN is read. Or type the ISBN, or search by title and author.
• Books that aren't in the sources: for old or little-known editions, photograph the copyright page and the ISBN, publisher, translator and edition details are read from the photo. Or search the web by ISBN.
• Shelf-level location: set up the bookcases in your home (e.g. B1 · Study) and their shelves, and see every book's exact place: B1-S2.
• Friends: find the Shelfnook users in your contacts or share your invitation code. Only friends you accept can see your library.
• Who has it? Search for a book and see which friend has it.
• Lending: ask a friend for a book; books you lend are marked "On loan" in your library and closed with one tap when they come back.
• Multiple copies, automatic classification, fast accent-insensitive search, bulk moves between shelves.
• Cover photos, reading status and personal notes.
• Backup and export: download your library as a CSV spreadsheet or a full backup.
• On every device: reach the same library from your iPhone and your computer (rafim.online) with the same account.
• In English and Turkish; follows your device language.
PRIVACY
No ads, no tracking. Your library is visible only to you unless you share it; shelf locations, notes and reading status are never shared. Your contacts are compared only when you ask, as hashed digests created on your phone, and are not stored. You can report inappropriate behaviour and block people. You can delete your account and all your data from inside the app at any time.
A free account (e-mail, or a Turkish mobile number) is required to use Shelfnook.
