Found what I was looking for!
All I needed was an app to list the books my husband reads so I don’t buy duplicates. Have done that a few times. Don’t care about sharing or need all the extra information other apps have. This is perfect. I can add all the stacked books out of my hallway to donate. And get rid of that dang excel sheet I started years ago. Now, add all those in here, which won’t take super long because this is so easy, looks nice and easy to use. Thank you! I am now a happy wife!

I love the categories they offer, but other apps let you just scan a barcode PLUS you can have the books cover art in the app

Thank you for the feedback. After reading this, I implemented the barcode scanning feature, which is now released in version 1.2.0. Please try it out and let us know what you think. It uses the Open Library as a backend and searches the barcode by ISBN, so it’s possible not every scan will be found in their database — but I scanned most of my shelf with it.
