What's New in Shermish - Feb 24, 2026 We’ve made our scheduling engine even smarter and more flexible to handle more of your group configurations! Flexible Team Counts Shermish now fully supports an odd number of teams! Whether you have 9 teams or 13, the scheduler will now correctly manage your session without errors. Automatic Byes The scheduling engine now handles "Byes" automatically. If you have more teams than courts, the app will cycle through teams fairly, ensuring everyone gets their turn to play and their turn to rest. Guaranteed Matches Everyone gets to play! We've updated our logic to ensure that every team meets their requested match count, even in complex configurations where an extra match might be needed to complete the round. Balanced Court Usage We've refined how courts are assigned to ensure teams aren't stuck on the same court all day. The app now does a better job of rotating teams across all available courts. Reliability Improvements * Fixed a bug that prevented session generation for certain team/match combinations. * Improved internal diagnostics to ensure schedules are valid before you start playing.
