Competent but dull
Having taken scores of audio walking tours on various platforms, this one comes up lacking. No directions. No attempt to provide content while between stops, only at stops. Nicely recorded with pleasant voice, but very dull, with endless facts and dates but almost no storytelling.

Awesome App!
With the pandemic, traveling is impossible. Going on Sherpa Tours’ remote tours may be the only way to travel right now. And the subscription is a no-brainer—each tour ends up being pennies each.

Fantastic Oslo Grunerlokker Tour
Simply put - Sherpa AR is top notch! I recently had a chance to visit Oslo for a few days and wanted to check some neighborhoods outside of the CBD area and stumbled upon the Grunerlokker Tour. While I normally like to plan sightseeing activities on my own, my time was pretty limited, so this app was a great solution. It took me to a neighborhood that I typically wouldn’t visit on a business trip - and led me to a fantastic food hall, along with a dozen+ other sites and highlights of Grunerlokker. I liked the ability to be able to do either the AR tour or just the GPS/audio tour guide. I’d definitely use Sherpa AR in other cities in the future!
