So many wholesome stories here and more are being added. It’s nice to not have to monitor for questionable messages in the content offered. Keep up the great work. Proud to support such endeavor. Looking forward to many more years of use, and then to the impressions the stories left after that.

Great selection
The best selection of books available for kids! Everything on here is a quality book! We all love it!
Good content. User experience is lacking
it takes a long time to add books to a collection. Would be nice to see which books are already in the collection from that page. Would also be nice to have a notification of which books have been added to a collection when searching (to prevent adding the same book multiple times). Would be nice to click on an author’s name when looking at a book to see the other books you have for that author.

It’s ok
The app is ok. Sometimes it feels a bit clumsy. There is a large selection of content which is wonderful, but many of the audiobooks seem to be read by average people, not professionals. The quality of audio and quality of reader greatly vary. Some books are great while others are down right awful to listen to. I wish there was a way to rate each book so Sherwood would know if they needed to update a book.

Love the selection, not phone function
The books you can watch and listen to are wonderful, we love the selection, but just reading books is difficult. No matter the size of the font or spacing of the lines, the top and bottom lines are cut off each time. (iPhone 14 pro max) I can’t just have my 8 year old practice reading out loud. We got the app for homeschool, so we have other devices but we aren’t always home so we use the phone quite a bit.

Can’t chromecast
The inability to chromecast, can only airplay, is a dealbreaker for me. I have TV’s where only have the ability to chromecast.

One of my favorites is green amber but yeah, it says listen to books watch books and movies that are based on a true story and you can actually read the books so this is definitely what your child needs.

Disappointed
I bought this app for my daughter based on the male British voice for Beatrix Potter that was on the ad. But when we began playing it, it is a woman’s American voice full of vocal fry and not nearly as engaging. I think that is unfair marketing and misleading. Additionally,
I subscribed thinking it would have all the classics but when I finally was able to access the catalog there are several I cannot find. I’m disappointed.

THE BEST APP
Hi, I just wanted to say that this is a really great app for kids all of the stories have kid friendly topics and they even have shows for kids six and under. They even have sleep timers so that your kid can listen to their favorite book as they sleep, and they won’t loose time finding where they were because the book has finished if you do turn on the timer. I just wanted to say this so other kids like me could have this wonderful app too.

My one frustration with this app is that they don’t have all the Green Gables books. That’s my one frustration with this app. otherwise 💜 💛 💚.

Offline use is terrible!
I downloaded multiple titles to read and listen to offline, as we were in a 5 day camping trip without internet access. The very first night, as we turned on our audiobook that we had downloaded for this purpose, the app shut down and would not play or allow us to read any downloaded content. BOTH DEVICES. I love the content, but this defeated the purpose of downloading from Sherwood if this happens once we leave cell signal.

Sherwood is better than we could have hoped! Tons of excellent stories and podcasts with family friendly content, Christian morals and topics, classic literature, unique content, and professional voice actors. Love this app and subscription!

My kids ASK for more stories!
I have boys: 10&7, the 10yo is dyslexic and reading is very difficult for him. So, thanks to Sherwood I get many titles that are morally sound and faith based while giving them great literature to build their vocabulary base! Even mom likes the stories! 😉 *Also, I love that so many of the characters are boys!

Great app
This is one of the best apps that I have on my phone. I have this other audiobook app called hoopla and and so you can only have five borrows every single month but this app you can listen to an audiobook anytime anywhere and it’s amazing
Love it!
These are so fun! And so easy to listen to my kids love them. Only thing that would make them better would be if I could play them from the tv in our play room.
Can’t Cancel
I’ve been trying to CANCEL this subscription for 3 days and it says “click the button below” well there is no button!! I can’t find a place to contact them either. My account was just charged $83 and some change. I’d like to cancel this and have a full refund of please!
