Here’s what I think…
In the time I’ve had it I’ve collected 7 Shibas in total, with 5 of them at level 2. I will say that this game has a handful of flaws, for one the leveling system grants too little exp per trip. It takes an entire day to level a Shiba up by one level, or the equivalent of 10 ads, or the equivalent of a ton of coins. At least there’s a variety of ways to level your shibas, but it just takes too long.
(3 Shiba trips, 20 minutes, is 1 hour, that gets you less than a quarter of a Shiba meter full. If you check frequently 1 Shiba level equals about 4 hours, if you don’t miss a single trip)
Now that, that’s out of the way… On to the gem system. I have pretty much no complaints. I’ve read quite a few reviews criticizing the gem system, but honestly, you get gems weekly and you can convert your stacks of coins into gems.
It reminds me of the gem conversion in KleptoCats, it works, especially since it’s very easy to horde coins, (because you really have to grind for Shiba exp.)
Finally, my compliments. This game has some
amazing art and wonderful movie references. I enjoy seeing what my Shibas drag in next. It’s art style reminds me of the other hyperbeard games, playful, cute, and a bit funny. (Can’t forget quirky)
The game seems to have similar mechanics to KelptoCats, KelptoDogs, and KelptoCorns in that they all have a similar currency conversion system. It makes playing all of the games easier, since coin collection (hoarding) takes priority, you can also play all of them simultaneously, checking one after another while waiting on one game.
It seems to be a ploy to keep the user interested in the games… haha, anyways,
Shiba Force has evolved quite a bit since it’s launch, like most hyperbeard games I can only play the mini games for so long before I switch apps, but I’d say it’s a well-balanced game.
