Hello, actually this app is a game (it's a 2D tower defense RPG) ^^ Maybe you're thinking of a different app.
It’s just fun
It’s exactly what it looks like in the screenshots, you recruit goddesses, upgrade them, and clear through really fun stages. I haven’t encountered any paywalls and the prices for pulling are much cheaper than your average gacha game.
I have also never seen such a player-friendly gacha system, the 5 star rates are 4% and you get the featured character in a max of 70 pulls (but I always get it much sooner). That mixed with how they shower you in free pulls (you get free daily pulls on any banner too), makes it really fun to collect a bunch of characters.
I have not had this much fun in a mobile game in a long time. It’s nice to play something unique that isn’t just another cookie-cutter gacha game that feels the same as everything else.

Not again
This game is the most glitched game I’ve ever played. Plus the developers have given up on any fixes or updates. Just like the first game. Huge disappointment

Hi, what do you mean? I update the game 1-2x per month. I also run an active discord server where you can see ongoing development updates/etc.
Good, but prefer the original.
The Original Shiba Wars was a lot more fun IMO, I know that def coms down to personal preference. So I guess I’ll just talk about what I miss from the original.
- The original Awakening and Ability level up system. The Awakening stages were brutal for sure, I still can’t clear Astra’s, but they provided a good challenge and the idea of unlocking an extra powerful passive for that goddess was a worthwhile reward. Some goddesses changed entirely when their Awakened ability was unlocked, and helped give new life to ones I hadn’t used as much like Nana or Athena.
- The Goddesses having unique activated abilities instead of just “attack speed boosted/damage boosted.” Sayaka’s Regen, Hel’s small invincibility, Diana being able to hit air enemies for a short time: Imissed that and it made the game feel a lot more unique and strategic when choosing goddesses. Shiba 2 just has them all be boosted for a little while.
- Being able to uncap without using a Gacha. I miss being able to save up and buy the goddesses and then earn enough to upgrade or uncap them, instead of Gacha-ing and hoping for the best. It felt more satisfying and made the game feel a bit more whole.
- The maps are so much smaller than in the original which makes it less about choosing good spots for the goddesses to get the best coverage/effects if they deal buffs. Shiba 2 just feels like spamming every goddess in your arsenal as soon as you have enough spirit. Also there’s no way to earn additional Spirit as easily as in the first one, which kills the pace and makes clearing later stages feel unfair since “I can’t do anything because I don’t have enough spirit to place anything.” The balance of making extra spirit to ensure you have enough goddesses was so much fun in the original Shiba Wars.
- For some reason any returning Shiba 1 music is compressed sometimes?? It could be a Bluetooth issue on my end though. I also miss the original Shiba Wars menu theme in general it was so chill (and the old Upgrade Screen song, I miss that too. The whole soundtrack is great I hope you make it public someday to listen to).
- Daily Challenges. I miss those a lot as being able to come up with Strats based on Goddesses given to you for a reward was great. I wish Shiba 1 had more Daily challenges as you cycle through like the few there is pretty quickly though.
There’s def more I can say but Shiba 2 is so brand new I feel a lot of things could change overtime. I think there’s def some improvement over the first but also so much missing from the original. I’ll happily play both and see where the second one goes. And I do hope you don’t plan to delete the first one anytime soon, because it still has a lot going for it!
