Useful but annnoying
Very useful. Easy to use. BUT since I updated, it has this very annoying feature. It pops up with commercials that are loud. I realized this when I made the update and I was trying to put something in my work calendar and I was seating in a meeting and the loud inappropriate commercial played. I had it on vibrate, but the volume does not follow vibrate mode. And ads pop up more often now. I want to go back to the old version. I understand to make money they need ads. But they really need to have either no sound or have them pop up muted and give the person the option of un-muting if they want to listen to the commercial.

It's great I might even get the pro version if I can still get it.
I have had this app for about a year now and use it to manage my schedule as I am a nurse with a constantly changing shift schedule and about 10 different start times so it is very important to keep my schedule updated and this app is absolutely amazing.

Gave up trying to use it
Every time I tried to save my shift, it comes up with an error and deletes everything I entered. Don't bother.
TERRIBLE
The ads are so annoying. All I want to do is be able to add my WORK shifts in, add info and a colour and then be able look and make simple changes. This is not a simple app to use. Its more annoying than anything else. Will delete it and find another one even if I have to pay for it.
Shame
I am willing to purchase an app, as long as it does what I want. This app is so badly hampered by ads that I gave up. Shift Cal is complex, but because of the 'pop up ads' it became very frustrating, it also has been so badly limited in the test version that I am unable to tell if it is suitable for me.
