My brain loves this game
I adore letterpress so I figured I should try another game from the same devs. Really, really fun for those moments when your brain wants to solve a complex spatial puzzle. The higher levels can be really difficult in a good way, getting up to 14x14 square boards, with the light paths moving around corners. The one thing I wish were different - any music or podcast I have playing shuts off when I open the game as it’s impossible to have audio from another app going while the game is on screen. Other than that, great fun. :)

So great, esp at night for low light insomnia
Its hard to find fun low light games when I’m awake at night. This game has a black background, lits of options and skill levels and is free from stressful timers or competition.
Nice but crashes systematically with last iOS version

Crashes can’t play
New iPhone 13 pro max. Played a level or 2 then it started crashing. Deleted app and played it only on my iPhone 8+. After some time tried again on 13promax and it worked for a while. Started a new pal and it is crashing again.

I love this game but...
I really love this game but there are two things that bother me. One, the colors. When my phone’s brightness is turned down it’s very difficult to see the blue against the background, and in night mode it’s impossible to tell the difference between white and yellow. And two, what bothers me most is that recently I’ve been getting ads with sound. I play this game at night to help turn off my brain when I’m trying to sleep and the sound is not good. When sound is disabled in the app and the ringer is off, it should not make a sound. Huge problem. If you fix these things (especially the second) I will gladly increase my rating to 5 and consider upgrading to premium.

Deep into the app in mix and wrap, game becomes bedevilingly complicated and fun. I’m utterly baffled by the final piece in the level I’m on with no help available. So sadly I’ve no choice but to quit using the app. I wish hints, clues, or solutions were available, even for a cost. I miss it.

Enjoyable, but limited
If I was able to specify the difficulty, instead of having to crawl back up to 14x14 on each “pack”, this would be 5-star great. I’ve done all the 14x14 ones and don’t really feel like redoing puzzles I’ve already solved. Unfortunate, as it is an inventive game.

Since the last update it no longer allows me to play podcasts in the background while playing the game which I hate.
Fun game - needs a small change
The completed screen should show for a little bit before the next level screen comes on so you can see the whole thing

What a insane way to spend lots of time.
I have played and won over 2k games and have met my match on three levels in three different packs..Meaning I have effectively bricked this game from further play.
All that’s left to say is that is was way fun while it lasted!!!!!

It was fun until it crashed my phone
The first time I played this game, it crashed my phone. I was in the middle of the third level, and then the screen went black. After a moment the screen went white with the Apple logo in the middle, and my phone had to restart. It was a short bit of fun. I hope this issue gets fixed so that I can play it again.

Stay with it
You might find at first the game seems trivially easy. However, the larger levels take more thinking. Get into it and then jump packs to the “mix” levels, where the game really opens up. And when you move to “mix and wrap,” a lot of the tactics using edges to narrow down the solution stop working, and you really have to start thinking and rethinking your solution.
I was going to delete it early on, but puttered with it. Give it a chance to challenge you!

Doesn’t Save Your Play
This is a fun and addictive game, however I went back to the main menu to check a color combination only to find out it didn’t save all my progress. I had gotten halfway through the mid levels. Very disappointing!
Also, once each level is completed a “completed level” pop up appears that doesn’t allow you to view the results of your final winning move. Annoying. Moving on to something else as I have no interest in replaying lower levels or trying to figure out where I left off.

Play is saved for any level being played. Levels reset thereafter but you retain credit for completed each level (a starred puzzle is the indicator). Also, there is a small X in the upper right corner of the level completed popup which allows you do dismiss it. Thanks for playing Shift.
