ShiftTake is a shift and tip log for servers and bartenders. Tap Start Shift when you clock in. Tap End Shift when you cut out. Enter your cash tips, card tips, and what you tipped out, and ShiftTake shows what you actually took home and what you really earned per hour. WHAT YOU SEE Today, this week, and this month, each with net tips and your effective hourly rate. The rate is weighted by the hours you worked, not a plain average of your shifts, so a short lunch shift does not flatter a long busy night. BUILT FOR THE WAY RESTAURANT WORK ACTUALLY GOES Net tips are cash plus card minus tipout. Tipout is always subtracted. A shift that starts at 9pm Friday and ends at 3am Saturday is a Friday shift everywhere in the app, so your Friday night lands on Friday. Forgot to hit stop? The hours are prefilled from the timer and you can change them. Forgot to fill in your tips? The shift waits for you on the Home screen instead of disappearing. Force quit the app, or restart your phone, and a running shift is still running with the correct elapsed time. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Everything stays on your iPhone. No account, no sign in, no ads, no analytics, no tracking. The app makes no network connections of its own. The only traffic is Apple's own App Store checkout if you subscribe. Shifts older than 30 days stay on your iPhone untouched, they are only hidden from view. If you subscribe later, or let a subscription lapse and come back, every old shift is right where you left it.
