Fair title. Shoobox is a one-person passion project. The current build is at 100%. You were on 1.9.12, which ran 99.3% crash-free. If you give it another shot and still hit crashes, email contact@shoobox.app with your device and iOS version and I'll chase it down personally. On the art: nothing here is stock. Items you scan are made from your own photos, and I design a fresh set of drops myself every single day.
Good idea but need to be further developed
There are also a lot of mechanics that aren't explained well:
-Elements pop up and vanish before I can figure out where they went. The calendar used to find trades completely disappeared after I used it once, and I have no idea how to get it back.
-The trade system is confusing. I wanted to list a scanned item for other people to buy without losing my own copy, but the "mint/copy" option only appeared once and never showed up again.
-There really need to be better, non-paywalled ways for new players to earn money and learn the systems. The idea here is great, but the user experience needs a lot of polishing.
-had to delete at last because it made my phone go really hot when I'm running the game but overall i loved this idea and hopefully itll be popular and big so we get more active users in the tradešš

Thank you for writing this out, this is the kind of feedback that actually moves things. I'm shipping updates constantly and the new player experience is where most of that work is going right now. Glad the concept landed for you, and I think you'll like where it's headed. Worth another look in a few updates.

Thanks for laying all this out, it's genuinely useful. You're right about the wheel, we're cutting how often it lands on zero so spins pay out something far more often. Coin packs are also getting much bigger at the same prices, that work is underway now. The ad reward will grow along with that change. A way to revisit items you've liked is on our list too. And if a scan clearly misread your item, reach out through support and we'll make it right. Hope you'll take another look when this lands, reviews like yours are what get it built.

Hi Dino, sorry about that. That loop was a bug on our end and it's fixed in version 1.9.12. Update from the App Store and you'll go straight into your room, with your account intact. If you encounter any more issues please email: contact@shoobox.app and we'll sort it out with you.
I hit select for my room and it kept making me pick a room no progress made itās glitching

Edit: A feature that could be added is a section where you can view othersā shoobits that you have liked.
Update: This game is incredible! The items you can collect are so diverse, so there is something for everyone! There are so many different ways to decorate the rooms and I enjoy seeing what other people create. The community is also awesomeā thereās a discord you can join and chat with other players. Iāve gotten so much inspiration the chats and Iāve learned things I didnāt know about the app. The developer is also in the discord and is super helpful, and listens to playersā feedback! Overall an awesome game :)
