AI Plague
The AI plague is ruining casual gaming. Every single game is now, “pay a subscription to get AI features!” And then the entire game is vibe coded.
To make matters worse, it is my understanding that the developers removed the ability to watch ads to get scans, the primary way you use AI to generate images which get put into the game as “collectibles”.
Yes, you can play the game without the AI feature, but let’s be honest - nobody is gon onto do that lol.

I love this game 👀
I’ve played many games over the years of my life and I’ve always been the type to like any game I can decorate and do my thang! Like games like Homescapes and such but this game! It’s NEXT LEVEL! 🖤💜🖤
I love finding somthing unique while I’m out especially local antique stores or statues at museums and I can legit transfer what I see into my Shoobox room.
But it doesn’t just stop at how great the game is but the community behind this game is greater! On discord you’re able to connect with other creators, collaborate on rooms, and make bonds with people who love the games you do. Shoobie the creator has done an amazing job on the game itself and keeping up with the community. Wether it’s a bug that needs fixed (he’s usually fixing it right away!)Or we’re all just chatting. This isn’t just a game it’s now a platform for so many to come together and express themselves and their styles! Love love loveeeee

Good but not enough scans
I would give it 5 stars if we were given at least 5 free scans per day, aswell as it seems that the wheel is rigged after a few spins to give you nothing, and the fact that a lot of stuff costs money, and it kept glitching out but the idea is cool

Not a huge fan of paying for scans. Cool concept though

Crashed constantly, also shoobits are all ai generated and have horrible white outline on everything

I really love the concept of this game, but as a new player, it gets overwhelming and confusing pretty fast. Right away, it feels like everything requires a ton of money, forcing you to watch endless ads or spend real cash just to make progress. Finding out the cool scanning feature seems to be locked behind a pro membership made it feel a lot less like a chill, casual game than I hoped.
There are also a lot of mechanics that aren't explained well:
-Elements pop up and vanish before I can figure out where they went. The calendar used to find trades completely disappeared after I used it once, and I have no idea how to get it back.
-The trade system is confusing. I wanted to list a scanned item for other people to buy without losing my own copy, but the "mint/copy" option only appeared once and never showed up again.
-There really need to be better, non-paywalled ways for new players to earn money and learn the systems. The idea here is great, but the user experience needs a lot of polishing.
-had to delete at last because it made my phone go really hot when I'm running the game but overall i loved this idea and hopefully itll be popular and big so we get more active users in the trade😛😛

Great concept actually amazing but pay to play.
I actually don’t have a problem even paying I’ve spent so much on other games. The problem is the amount I’m paying for is barely any coins and scans. It is crazy. I’ve tried to scan things and it doesn’t get it right and now I’ve wasted a scan. I understand yall want to make money but I promise you if it was a just price you would make so much more. I’ve seen your response to earning coins with watching ads but this said ad gives you one singular coin and then you have to wait until the next shop drop. The wheel eats up most of my coins why is zilch even an option? Genuinely that’s messed up how many times I’ve gotten 0 lol. Also if I like an item I would like to be able to view them they just get lost.

Doesn’t even let me in
I made an account and when I go to select my room, it just keeps saying setting everything up and restarting
I hit select for my room and it kept making me pick a room no progress made it’s glitching
It sucks I can’t even get past select my room it’s glitchy wouldn’t recommend

This game is addicting and probably my favorite mobile game. I love the creativity of every player and how creative i can be, I’ve only been playing for a few months but I get on daily and I absolutely love collecting items and the community the game holds!

Update: This game is incredible! The items you can collect are so diverse, so there is something for everyone! There are so many different ways to decorate the rooms and I enjoy seeing what other people create. The community is also awesome— there’s a discord you can join and chat with other players. I’ve gotten so much inspiration the chats and I’ve learned things I didn’t know about the app. The developer is also in the discord and is super helpful, and listens to players’ feedback! Overall an awesome game :)

My favorite phone game
I absolutely love this (honestly addictive) adorable game! It’s great for those crow-fairy-goblin soul’d individuals like myself that enjoy building a collection & setting up fun displays of all our shiny little things. I really enjoy seeing the different creative themes of the collectible items dropped each day, the awesome community that is being built within the game players (especially with the Discord really taking off!) and the game developer is extremely thoughtful & attentive as well! It’s so customizable & I love how much you can really accomplish within this game totally free, too 💓

This game has been my obsession since the day I discovered it. The ability to scan real life things and create a little universe of your own is amazing. I’ve met some amazing creators and been inspired by so many folks there. It’s a great community and I feel lucky to be a part of it!
Creative Game!
I’ve been really enjoying Shoobox! and it’s clear that a lot of thought has gone into the experience. I especially like how fun and engaging it is, and the developers seem to care about improving it and listening to the community. The great Discord community is also a big plus. Definitely worth checking out if you’re looking for something new!
