Hi guys, how do you set up dry fire, one shot no second shot I have a striker fired pistol.
Simple, effective, useful
The strength of this app lies in its simplicity. It does not tell me actual split times, rather lets me know if I am on par with my goals and clearly shows me areas I need to work on. I use it for dry fire at home, similarly to the rotating targets function at the range where I set face and edge times. The target events are denoted by beeps, which can be disabled. In silent mode you react to the changing interface colors.
I tried other apps that use the microphone but found them finicky to calibrate, frequently missing shots or giving false positives when disengaging the safety.

Took .5 Seconds off Draw Day 1
This is exactly what I was looking for to practice dry fire.
I started at 2.0 seconds and after several rounds was hitting 1.70 5/5 times.

Love this with one gripe
This is great, will be very useful for dry fire practice when traveling/anytime I don’t have a shot timer on me.
I do wish I could turn off the second counting beeps, I really just want my start and end beeps.

Does what you expect, it’s simple to use and its structure in a way that’s very handy to practice with. Saving presets is a good feature. I stopped searching for more timer apps after I found this.

Great app for draw and dry fire practice
This is a great alternative to an expensive hardware par timer for draw practice and dry fire training. No need to constantly restart the timer, just tap to start and it will continue to cycle with fixed or random timers until you tap to stop.
Awesome Tool
This is a great little app that’s another tool for my tool box of firearms training! I use this mostly for dry fire practice and it’s awesome and easy to use. Being it’s an app on my phone, I can use the app practically anywhere! The ability to set and store multiple time profiles really helps when the lack of time is a factor for/during training. It makes it easy to switch between different time profiles without a lot of button pushing. As a firearms instructor, this app will be recommended for students as well as being used during classes. Thing only thing I would recommend, different tones to use for Make ready and Stand by. The same tone is used for both, being able to set different tones for the two would help to differentiate the meaning of the tones between Make ready and Stand by. Not a big deal, just a recommendation. Thanks for the app!

Great product
The only downside for me personally is that the draw tone is difficult to hear. The device would be far more useful if the tone or its volume could be adjusted. While the change in screen color helps compensate for this, it makes the feedback reliant on visual cues rather than auditory ones—which can be a disadvantage during competition, where audio feedback is essential.

Best Free Par Timer
It does exactly what you need it to for dry fire. I haven’t tried this with live fire; I think the gun fire will drown out the sound of the timer, but the big color display is useful there. Overall, best free par timer in the App Store.
