Adorable cats!
Excellent app, such sweet kitties! It’s a joy to see all of these baby kitties getting attention and love. My next road trip will include shop cats destinations along my route.

I wish that there was a way to send bug reports. Otherwise it is nice with a cute UI, and I don’t mind what bugs there are because they don’t break the experience and the app is still clearly being developed and improved… and of course it brings me joy to meet the cats near me!

cute app but buggy
i like this app a lot. i think the whole idea is neat. i love being able to know where i can find cats near me and just seeing people post about cats.
it is a bit buggy though. one thing that i noticed is that you can not add a place to shopcats through the “share a visit.” it gives you the option, but when you try to, it just stays blank/unresponsive. i figured out the only way to do it is by going to the “claim a shop” and adding the place there and choosing the option that says you will come back after they ask if you are the owner/have permission to claim the shop. i think most people would not think to do that and would just assume the sharing feature is broken. this would lead to missed chances for shops to be recorded on the app.
also, when i update the caption/bio to an already made post of mine, the screen instantly goes dark and the app is unresponsive. i will have to swipe the app out and click it again for it to work.
there have been a couple of times where the app just randomly freezes too.

Amazing app but needs an upgrade
It’s an amazing app, with lots of cats to visit but when I try to add my cafe it says it can’t find it. But im not trying to look for it im trying to ADD it, please fix this

This is the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever seen so naturally I’m obsessed. I, somehow, ended up with every neighbourhood cat in my area and I truly do love everything that has come from that. About 15 years ago while laying in the garden with Bendis (my cm. green iguana) I met Mameow. Mameow and Bendis met one another and the rest is history, they developed an oddly adorable and perplexing friendship that’s lasted years. My heart was shattered when Bendis passed away, of old age, in 2020 which left me with Frodo, a very sweet and special stray cat that bonded immediately with Ben. Mameow is still very present though Frodo has since passed as well. But Mameow and her mother Granmeow have multiplied bringing me first, Fric & Frac and their siblings Boote & Callie. Fric & Boote have each had a litter each bringing my current population up to 10 cats with Callieco and her Nan Granmeow due any day now.
It will prove hugely irresponsible of me to download and use this app but the way I see it is, the damage is done — may as well have fun.

Cant get past scritches!
Its annoying because i cant get past the stupid scritches
Cute Idea!
Shopcats is a cute little way to see if there are any fluffy friends nearby during your travels. It adds a little bit of brightness to my day if I'm lucky enough to come across one! :)
Also, I noticed that some people are saying it's "missing some cats", but that's just because they still need to be posted! I just added a cat today to the app that I saw while out, and they make the process of doing it pretty simple. So don't be shy sharing your stories!

App Crash
App just has white blank screen
Can’t get past the scritches
I’ve removed this app & tried it again. It asks me to pick my hand color but I can’t get past this part of the app on my iPhone! Help. My daughter & I want to use this!!

Finally someone has thought of this! Great app. However I am having trouble adding a new business in my neighborhood and every time I try to do it the app freezes.

I love cats, and this is my go to app so I can meet new cats! You should download if you love or even like cats!
Amazing but can improve
This concept is so adorable and I love it so much! My only issue is one others pointed out and that is the small amount of shops shown. Like of course not every shop has cats but it seems that some are missing. Besides that no complaints so cute.

Super cute and fun! Only issue is that it won’t let me add a new shop:( I tried to follow the steps but for whatever reason it can’t locate the shop I want to add.

Love this apps idea, but I wish they had more cats. I like that they have vets, bookstores, and pet stores, but I’d like to see stuff like bodegas and other more random stores added. It’s kinda a given that a pet store is gonna have cats, so not really much point in using the app for that. I hope to see that improved in the future.
