Good content, although the UI is outdated and buggy.
It’s technically functional, you can still read stories however it hasn’t been updated in 5 years, and so it’s super buggy. It doesn’t fit the aspect ratio of my phone screen, and for some reason all of the quotation marks are replaced by â

A Must Have for Busy Bookworms
This is the only short story app I can find that allows me to download short stories in groups and rate each story in a way that allows me to go back to all my favorites. The stories are great and cover a wide array of subjects. I wish it was more active still though.

What a shame
Coule be a great app with some good stories, unfortunately the missing text makes the stories unreadable. Lazy from the people who made the app.
Great collection, can't read
Each page on my iPad has text that I can't scroll to see. Unreadable. Very disappointed.

PLEASE FIX IT
Used to be so great, now a few lines are chopped off the bottom of each page. Useless now. PLEASE FIX THIS FORMATTING ISSUE. I always loved the stories available ( Edith Wharton, O Henry, Chekhov), and would love to be able to use this app again.

It would be an excellent app if not for the problem of cutting off lines on each page. Is there going to be a fix?
Missing Text
Of the previous reviews, the first mention of the issue of missing text is April 2015. Some eleven months later and the problem still exists so it's fair to assume that the app developers have no intentions to fix the problem. Shame because it's a decent app otherwise. I can't say if it's only an iPhone 6plus problem but if you have a 6plus don't bother, waste of time.

Text/sentences missing
This would be a great app if the developers managed to ensure there were no text/sentences missing from most of the pages. Very frustrating😁

Format and customer support issues
The app worked great on my iPhone 4. On newer phone I have the same formatting problem others have written about. Reloading app did not work, had to give up trying to read any story. Went to their Help section to troubleshoot and got a 404 error. So I had to ditch the app. Too bad it used to be great.

Missing text on every page
There is text missing on every page. I have tried changing the font size and some extra text appears but it is still not all of it. I am not sure if this is an iPhone 6+ issue only.

Text is not adjusted to fit iPhone screen, regardless of text size. Missing so much of the story because I can't scroll down, only to the next page.
Only displays a portion of each page
Useless on iPhone now. Only displays half or less of each page. Good stories that you are not allowed to read
Frustrating
Frustrating. The text on some pages is longer than the screen in either landscape or portrait orientation, and regardless of font size. The stories are great, but the delivery is lousy.
