Can no longer paste URLs
I tried hard not to post this publicly but it’s the only workable option I’m offered (“Report a Problem” required me to select a purchase, but when I tried to do so, nothing happed. And App Support takes me to your website, but there’s no way to contact you from there)
In any event I can no longer paste long URLs into the Long URL field. When I placed my cursor in that field instead of getting a pop-up menu the option to paste the keyboard open up.

First time I used the app, the shortened URL led to ad for porn site
Pasted shortened URL and it redirected to a porn ad, so be sure to check before sending if you use this. Yikes. Glad I didn’t send. App deleted.

Since v3.1.0, ShortenMyURL now uses a different, improved third-party link shortening service that is yet to show ads.

Amazing but Sketchy
I used to use this all the time, especially for aesthetic reasons when sharing long links. Now I have to use tinyURL. my Internet blocks, whatever link I have shortened using this app as potential ransom or malware. thought I should let the developer know now.

Oh no, I’m sorry to hear that. It seems to be working fine on my devices when I connect through various means to the internet. Is this issue limited to your iPhone, and/or a specific Wi-Fi, perhaps? I’d assume that it’s an aggressive filter your ISP employs, that maybe your cellular provider and other ISPs don’t…
I loved this App!
I love this app until it stopped working! I was very disappointed.
Simple, effective, intuitive design
I needed an app that would quickly and simply shorten my links. Other apps like Bit.ly had way too many gimmicks that I didn't use. ShortenMyUrl gives exactly what I need and I'm in and out of the app within 5 seconds. Other app designers could take a lesson from this one!
