Version 2.0 adds Slop patrol: an optional AI-powered bouncer that checks video metadata for strong signs of repetitive, low-value content. SHORT VIDEOS, OUT OF THE WAY Hide Shorts across the home feed, search results, channel pages, related videos and the Shorts tab. Hide Playables too, and optionally tidy away community posts. Choose which surfaces to clean up or pause everything with one tap. MEET SLOP PATROL Turn on Patrol to assess visible video titles, channels and description snippets using Jev. Enable Auto-hide to bounce strong low-value matches. Uncertain videos stay visible, and Always show lets you overrule the bouncer. Patrol evaluates metadata, not the video itself. It does not analyze pictures or audio, prove that a video was AI-generated, or hide useful content merely because it involves AI. Assessments can be wrong; you stay in control. YOUR CHOICE, YOUR DATA Shorts hiding works on-device. Slop patrol is off by default and needs an internet connection when enabled. It sends visible video IDs and metadata to Shortless's hosted service and Jev for assessment. No account, API key or setup token is needed.
