the app displays a random short film - it is possible to swipe to another random short film, but there is no way to browse and select a short film you actually want to watch

Is there a Home Screen?
I was pretty excited about this app, and interested in subscribing; but directly after downloading it and starting the free trial, all I get is the start screen for a movie. There seems to be no home screen, no way to search for anything. Maybe there is just a glitch … I tried the obvious solutions, well at least turning off my iPad and turning it on again. There is no way to log out either. Pretty disappointing. I will give it a couple more days but will most likely end up canceling my trial and deleting the app.

Great access with limits
Love being able to gain access to these shorts through a streaming app but the app is very limited. There is a “button” to turn on subtitles, but it has never worked for me. When they do “work” the subtitles just stay on the bottom and do not flow with the film. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Probably will cancel my subscription soon after a soak up the few I can watch.

Doesn’t work in the US.
Pretty disappointed that this no longer works in the United States.
Doesn’t work and neither does customer service
When I start the app it goes right to a film called Six Shooter and will not allow me to go to the home page or watch anything else. I deleted the app and reinstalled it but that did not help. I just started a free trial and I am not impressed with something that does not work from the start. I am using the app on an iPad. I sent them an email, no response. I sent a message to them on Facebook, no response. I was looking forward to watching short films and would have definitely subscribed after the free trial but I will look for short films elsewhere.

It looks like you are using the wrong channels to contact us, Facebook is mainly about our TV channels (not the App) and it is for marketing purpose. Such issue has not been reported by other users, could you please send us more details (iOS version, iPad version) to customerservice@shorts.tv and whether you are facing the same issue on iPhone so that we can investigate it. App rotation
Cmon guys, fix the rotation feature on the app. I can’t watch shows on my ipad because the app won’t turn horizontal or upside down for the ipad.
It’s like Spotify for my eyes.
I like how Shorts plays the short you choose, and then can just keep going.
It’s hard to know what you want to watch if you don’t already know what you want to watch, but this makes it easier to explore and experiment with lots of content without having to decide.
Because the content is “short” it doesn’t require much commitment to get into something new.

DirecTV sign in not working
I added Shorts TV to my direct TV line up. Works on the TV. But when I use the Shorts TV app and it prompts me to sign in with DirecTV doesn’t work. Just an endless loop back to home screen. Just like some other reviews indicate. Going to cancel my directv subscription for this service as the only reason I got it was to use this APP which doesn’t work.

It’s not just another TV channel. This gives you access to so many short films and it’s so easy to have a personalised experience by creating your own playlists (aka channels) based on genres or mood. The Spotify for short films!

Awesome selection of films. Great variety. And the app is so cool how it helps you find films of interest.
Amazing film app!
I love short films so to find an app that has thousands of them available is amazing! But what makes this app really special is its ease of use and algorithm that allows me to easily find films I like and build my own movie channel. Compared to Netflix where I spend ages searching for films to watch this app is a dream. Plus the films are awesome! Well done ShortsTV - please keep the great films coming!

Best Short Film App!!!
Finally an app where I can find all the best International short films. If you love short films then this is the app you must download! Easy to navigate, you can find films by categories or genres. It even has a section for Oscar winners and nominated short films!
