this app is UNREAL, so brilliantly made and it has completely transformed my experience when showcalling. the summary at the end is so incredibly helpful for show reports. i cannot recommend this highly enough for any DSMs, people working FOH or anyone at all working in theatre.💫💫💫💫💫
Deleted show I didn’t pick
I just had my second show for my highschool and I used this app. I had had two files for that show one was at 9:01, another at 7:01. I picked to delete the 9:01 one, and when I hit delete it decided to delete the show file I wanted to save. Can’t get it back now-

Hi, Sorry that this seems to have happened, it’s something I’ll look into, this was a minor bug you were running into, it’s now fixed in 3.2.3, thanks for spotting this! For future reference it’s quicker to notify me about bugs/feature requests from within the app or via email, as its quicker to get to the bottom of the issue :)
Great but would be so much better with Apple Watch
I love this app but when being a duty manager you cannot whip your phone out in a dark theatre. Please make this Apple Watch compatible to be able to record times discreetly

I work on a show with unconventional preshow calls - this app has reminders and does the maths for me. I also barely have time to hit stopwatches and write times - this app solves that struggle too! Great job!

This app does what it says it does. But I find it a little confusing to navigate.
What is the clipboard icon for? I tap it and nothing shows up.
It would be nice to be able to save show settings and load a different show setting.
It’s way too easy to accidentally click out of the app and the show stops counting.

Love it.
One thing that I’d love and really miss and need is to have the current time with seconds always showing especially during the intermission when I need to write down the time of orchestra tune for act 2. I always need a second clock to do this and would love not to have the second clock. During intermission it shows the time elapsed and time remaining but not the present time with seconds. Is this possible please? Otherwise I love this app. It is beyond wonderful! Thank you for it.

This app is a must have for any stage manager or event manager! The only thing I would say is that I wish there was an apple watch app- that way i can run the timer while i don't have my phone on me.

Invaluable
As a FOH manager this has changed the way I work. I was recommended it by another manager at a forum and have since told many colleagues about it, they also now use it. It’s great.
No issues so far. Love the ability to add extra acts and intervals. As a busy touring theatre our shows vary from week to week so this works brilliantly in adapting what we have. I love that it saves previous shows incase I need to check something from the day before. The show stop timing element is great too, thankfully don’t need to use that very often. But it’s great to have.
It’s honestly enhanced and made my job a lot easier. No more carrying a clipboard round and loosing my pen just before clearance.
I do wonder if you ability to run two shows simultaneous would be good? We have a studio theatre and this also runs on the same nights we have main house, but just a suggestion.

Absolutely love this app. The best for all types of Stage Managers.
Please bring back saved show files. It’s important for many people to switch between shows. Although currently you can save shows to excel files, they cannot be reloaded back to the app. This was one of the best parts of this app before the update!

Hi, really glad you are enjoying the app! This feature is possible but in a slightly different place, if in settings you choose “share settings” you can save/share the config with anyone or save it to files on iOS, then of you open the file with Show SW it’ll take your settings :) hope this helps, any other questions feel free to get in contact.

From China to Dubai, US to Europe - this app is key to all of my shows. So thankful for it.
Love it but…
I was recommended this app by a fellow stage manager and I love it so much. Has made keeping time a lot easier. The one complaint I have with the new update is losing the option to save different show settings. I work on shows were sometime we’ve had to change or show a slight bit and do 2 versions of the show. With that, I was able to save different settings according to those versions.

Hello - really glad to hear you like the new version. The feature you are looking for is actually possible in the new update. In Settings if you select share settings you can save all of your shows configurations. This will open the iOS share sheet so you can message show settings to colleagues or save them to files in iCloud or on your device. These configurations can easily be opened in Show StopWatch but opening the file and choosing import. Love the new design. This app is the industry standard. We produce 10+ shows a year and it is in use every night in every booth at The Denver Center Theatre Company. We love the ability to email the times to ourselves to copy and paste times into reports. Would love an Apple Watch companion app and a way to customize “interval” to “intermission” and remove “clearance” for those of us using it in the states. Thanks for updating it!

I was thinking about Apple watch ⌚️ features this evening at intermission and besides start and stopping off acts and intervals, what would be great is just to see the interval countdown. Procedure for me is to hit your button to start intermission but then start the watch’s timer so I can put my phone away or even leave it in the booth. I don’t want to pull my phone out 5 times during intermission to check the time. I don’t know what the solution is to shortcut this but it would be nice.
