Crew did not show up
I requested crew on this application for a small and only had half the Crew show up which put my Event and production schedule in jeopardy. I ended up having to call a local Labor Company to save the day. And then afterwards, I got a egregiously high bill, where I was even being charged for the crew that were never present. And they expected me to pay that. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS APP!

Terrible company (PSAV+CAVL) terrible app
This app is used to gate keep jobs and opportunities for techs to get work all disguised as an app. They do not show you gigs unless they confirm you on the gig first, so they have 2x calendars, one for bidding jobs that is always empty. And one for jobs they “want” you on. They use this app and their “policies “ to further delay your payment from jobs. They say they will pay 14-30 days pas the “P.O.” (Payout Order) but thats only when THEY get to it. It might be 14 days past the job before you can agree to the PO and then they revise it multiple times for a week and then you have to wait another “up to 30 days”. If you contact someone internally, they ignore you or they act like they have never done their job before.

Gatekeeping Opportunities
The app has been available on the Apple Store for several months, but no opportunities have appeared in the “Opportunities” section. It seems that work assignments are distributed selectively, rather than through open listings. In practice, users only see gigs after being directly contacted by the company (which is how they have always done it), then at that point the job is added to the app to generate a statement of work.
While the concept of a centralized scheduling and application platform is good in theory, the current implementation adds extra steps to an already manual process. The lack of transparency around available work creates a misleading impression that opportunities are broadly accessible when they are not.
Additionally, while the app allows users to list their skills and experience, there is no apparent system for verifying or matching those skills to real opportunities. As it stands, the app appears to serve more as an internal management tool than as a genuine source of open job listings.
