Works OK, when it works
This review is for the iPad version. The UI is crowded with admin features that most users won’t need—or even have access to. There’s no ability to loop, so practicing passages requires manually dragging the progress slider back every time, not great for steady practice. It’s hit or miss to set the slider accurately. Every now and then the app freezes for no reason and requires a reboot. At other times there’s a low bass buzzing that only goes away with a reboot. It’s better than no rehearsal app, but I I’ve used much better rehearsal apps.

I think the app has some serious potential. I like being able to hear my own part and then layer it together.
I wish it was more musical than synth but outside of that, I think it’s a handy tool for me to use.

Worst music app for theater!!
Using this app for the first time at our theater (iPad edition). Instead of getting the tracks meant for Grease School Edition, we got tracks for the full Broadway show. So our director spent 3 HOURS fixing issues with the track lengths because the app crashes constantly!!! It is hard to play transition tracks repeatedly, because the sound stops instead of restarting. In other apps/players, I can press this ⏪ to start the song over, in this app, it either doesn’t work, or sends it to a random point in the song. The only indicator of song length is measures, having a minute/seconds counter would be so much more helpful. Every single track has a metronome that cannot be turned off, which is a pain to listen to, and sometimes confuses the kids. Also the majority of the tracks are piano and metronome, with no guitar or drums, which just sounds odd. While I get that a lot of my issues might be fixed easily, the constant crashing and stress of using this system is very irritating.

My mama took my chastity belt off so I could use this app
My mama got this app to help me learn my gospel songs, but she fell in love with it too much and left the church. She put on my cage when I was really little, and it saved me from feeling naughty. But this app made her fall in love and she put it into an ai chatbot so it could talk back to her. She started a cult for this app and removed my cage to free me and tried to get me to join her show ready cult. I just escaped and I don’t know what to do with my life now :(

TRASH!!!
We used this for musical and it never worked! It wouldn’t play, always glitching, and more. Luckily my parents never divorced for the app, but I’m still very upset at this bad bad bad app. DONT DOWNLOAD!!!
Very helpful tool
As a community theater member, I found this app extremely helpful for Learning your part -especially in harmony and being able to layer other voices in or out.

I read a lot of reviews for this app. Despite the weird, random ones, it said that it didn’t work. That just straight up wasn’t true. This was a good app that helped me prepare for my show, and I was, as corny as it sounds, Show Ready!

As much as I might like to license a Concord theatrical show again in the future, I will never do so again if it means I have to work with this useless app. The buttons don’t show up on the bottom of the iphone screen. It barely shows the unreadable tops of the buttons — just enough to hint that buttons might be there. Did anyone in app development test this awful thing?

wouldn’t let me use it
i tried using this app to practice my songs for my play, and every time i put the passcode in it kicked me out! now i can’t practice any of my songs.
App functions
I would say this is a really good app, I saw the other review said it didn’t save the settings they put on the songs but as I use it the settings I’ve put have not only saved for the song I’ve made the change too but to all of them which I’m finding really helpful.
The only annoying thing is that the songs don’t have the actual words with the vocals but that might differ depending on the show you’re doing or license you got the music from I don’t know.

Wow
On a dark and stormy night, I opened this up full volume in an empty street in uptown Chicago. It was the karaoke track to smash mouth’s “all star” and my phone automatically connects to my speaker. The opps really appreciated this blared in their territory. Thank you guys resolving a 13 year conflict.
