Update!
Thank you so much for finally updating! This is one of the only apps I’ve ever paid for. It’s made my life so much easier even with the bugs and I’m so excited now that those are fixed. It’s the perfect tool for stage managers.
Not quite ready for prime time
It’s a nice idea, but it doesn’t seem stable enough for live use. Just trying to set up a show, I encountered a number of bugs. For example, after a while adding scenes, they stopped appearing in the list. Clicking around a while and going out and back in they finally showed up, but by that time I’d entered the scenes out of order. Clicking “Sort/Delete” did nothing - it looked like the mode changed, but there were no sort or delete controls. Trying several times, going out and back in, I finally got it to work, although sometimes weird things happened. Trying to check a prop and save it from the all props view kept crashing the app.
I also think that improvements could be made to make this easier to use. For example, if a prop is used in more than one scene, it has to be entered multiple times. It would be nice to be able to enter it once and track it through the scenes.
For now I think I’ll continue to use Evernote for my checklists. I’m sorry that I spent money on this.

Regret
Makes things more confusing then helpful.. You're better off with pen and a paper.
Great as far as it goes
This app is pretty basic, although it does help a bit. I'd really like to see support for set, light, sound and costume notes, allowing you to create your whole rehearsal report as you go. It's a good start, though!
Not helpful
I found this to be a waste of money. Lots of glitches.
Very impressed
I am very happy with the new ver. (V2). I like that everything can now be filed with a show name and that you can customise spike mark colours.
While it will never fully replace good old fashioned documenting, if has certainly streamed lined the process

A Great Idea
I have thought about creating an app of this nature if only to help myself. Unfortunately I wouldn't know where to begin, so thanks for taking the time to make this.
The timer is my main reason for the purchase. My one ask would be that it could also make note of the time every time the button is pressed (I.e. the start time of the show and each act) at the moment it only shows when the section ended as 'saved' at...

Not so good...
I hate to say it but this app doesn't do much that is useful. I'm a stage manager, and was hoping that for $5 I would get an app that would at least do what the descriptions says it does. However the props list doesn't even have a field to type in the name of a prop. It's the same as the spike mark list but that doesn't even have a place to input measurements to make a spike chart. It does have a working stop watch, I'll give it that, but so does the iPhone's clock app. Overall, not worth $5. Can I have my money back?

Terrific.
A great app, a welcome addition to my SM kit. Clean, organized and efficient. Makes preshow and post-show a breeze. It is simple to learn, and invaluable once you've begun using it.
I would like to suggest an upgrade for future versions - one simple addition to the Show Timer section: A show start time line. It shows a show end time with the Last Saved, but I'm finding myself subtracting time to find out when I actually pressed the START button. In the jumble of starting the show, noting the start time hasn't always been my strong point. Having the start and end time appear in the email report would take this from a five star to a six star app if it were possible!

Rubbish
This app is a complete waste of money. Its states that you can create lists of marks, props and show checklists but it's all the same useless data fields.
There is no way any stage manager would use this app. Don't waste your money like I did.

Potential but...
This app has some potential to be really useful but... I can't ever get it to allow me to edit the "other" field so that's annoying. The interface is a bit clunky - if you click on the item in the list view it brings up a blank page - you have to click on the arrow to the right of the item to get back into the text area.
I'd love it if there were separate lists for props, check list, and marks - right now when I pull up the check list page it shows all the props. Kinda lame.
The photos above show a "check mode" but I don't seem to have that on my iPad.
The timers are nice.
All in all, it could be a good idea but it is buggy and needs work. Definitely not worth the $5 I shelled out for it.

Very helpful!!!
Great app!!! Fantastic tool for timing shows, especially the option to preset the scenes so you don't have to figure out which scenes the timings are for.
Have to be honest that I haven't used the props or spike marks options because I usually have too many to put in and not enough time.
I would LOVE the app even more if it had the option of sending alarms for the back stage calls, ie the half at 35 minutes before curtain and so forth. Would it be possible for us to enter the curtain time and get alarms for the different calls or check times off a check list of which alarms we'd like? I'd GLADLY give the app 10 stars if this was added!

Needs more features
While ShowTool SM has some interesting features, it feels more like an "extra" than an essential for Stage Managers. The props list is nice, but how about a place to organize those? Support for custom rehearsal report logs, a notes feature, attendance support, or multiple (save-able) checklists would also be appreciated. The export feature for the Props list feels very bare-bones; an updated interface to include rich text formatting when sending this lists could eliminate that.
Overall, it is a decent app for $0.99 or $1.99... but as it is currently set at a price of $4.99, the bar is set high, and as of right now, ShowTool SM fails to deliver.

Brilliant!!
This app has made my life so easy. Even with the couple of minor bugs that I found, the support addressed concerns within 24hrs, and updates were issued very quickly. I LOVE THIS APP!! If any stage manager is considering it, buy this app. You will not regret it
Has Strong Potential
Version 1.0.1 already has several great features that will be even better with tweaking. For instance, I really like that I can e-mail myself run times. But is there a way to reset the times without resetting the labels? If I want to record individual scenes or scene shifts, I don't want to lose 5-10 seconds typing in the names for each section. Looking forward to testing the rest of the tools.

Great Stage Management tool
I'm a stage management student at Rose Bruford College and I love that there is finally an app to help us when on show.
One thing I would like to see in an update is a contact list, as this would also be very useful. Maybe even have a way of putting ground and lighting plans on the app too.
I would and have recommend this app to all my friends in the field and hope they find it as helpful as I have.
