I had a 3.9 MB image that needed to be 3 MB, so I entered a size of 3,000 KB. The app said, “Success!” So I tried to upload the image to the site I was working, but it was rejected. I checked the size of my “reduced” image and discovered that instead of shrinking, it had actually inflated to 9 MB! So I tried using the percentage. I wanted it reduced by 20%, so I registered 20% on the slider. It came back reduced to something like 75 KB! So I tried moving the slider to 80% and again received an enlarged image of 7.1 MB. I decided to just ignore what the app was asking for and guess; I entered a reduction of 50% and finally, my photo was reduced to 3 MB. I’m guessing English is not the creators’ strong suit. So it works fine if you’re willing to play with it; if you want it to actually do what it says it will do the first time, look elsewhere.
