I failed the SHRM-SCP
The app had me at a 99% ready score with a 89% “excellent” answering accuracy and a 91% “test completed”. I went today to take the test and failed miserably. Nothing from this app was on the test. I didn’t know about 80% of the test questions. The apps questioning is not relevant to the test AT ALL! Don’t be like me and use this app and then fail. I also had a study book that I used a little and I also used ChatGPT which was almost the exact same as this app. I’m not sure what the best study material is but it’s not this app!

Worth it!!
I primarily used this app for a few weeks prior to my SHRM SCP exam and I passed. Highly recommend this. Being able to go back through your incorrect answers, being able to take multiple tests, and even the question of the day kept me motivated and focused. The Stats feature was super helpful too to see how my studying was trending.

This app is super helpful for anyone who has had HR-adjacent tasks in their role throughout their career who is looking to transition into a full HR role. The study tests are designed to help you understand the material and provide real-world examples. I like the app!

Mistakes on Quizzes
The quizzes sometimes give the wrong answer as the right answer. Also, there are unrealistic questions on the tests… questions that reference specific obscure Acts and laws that the real test won’t ask us by name.
Worth every penny / I passed my exam
I can confidently say this app helped tremendously with my exam prep. I also took a training course, but this app was a huge part of helping me feel prepared and confident going into the exam. I used it whenever I had downtime — waiting in line, at red lights, even at the salon. The convenience and practice questions really made a difference. I took the exam today and passed! I would definitely recommend this app to anyone preparing for the SHRM-CP exam.

I notice that on some of the questions, the app uses different words to describe a concept than SHRM does. That is a little confusing.

Not a lot of study material for the price
Great App!
One thing I suggest is making the number of questions and progress through them more accessible, similar to Pocket Prep's stat page, to help with motivation and make progress more visible.
App stopped working
This is my 2nd review. The first was 4 stars due to lack of new questions. Now I’m rating in 1 star because my Take a Test button is grayed out and I can’t take any more tests. I reached out to through Contact Me on March 10th and received a response requesting additional information. I provided the information but have never heard back. I even followed up via email and completed another request. Crickets. I’m so disappointed. Now I have to find another way to study. $89 down the drain.

Not many new questions
I like the reminder notifications and the different avenues to answer questions but seems like I’m answering the same questions with very few new ones. Very disappointing for the cost.

Don’t waste your $
This app never cites it’s questions or answers. It asserts theories as ‘facts,’ and provides vague explanations. I had a stellar prep app for my LMSW and figured for this outrageous price it would be comparable, but I was wrong. Just use free flash cards online and have AI explain to you anything you don’t understand. Unless of course, the test turns out to be of similar caliber, which would be tragic. I suppose I will let you all know after I test if the extra $100 taken from my food fund during a gov shutdown was worth it….
