Shrub is great. The open-ended design framework and simple functionality of shrub gives it many potential uses. Ive used it as a photo diary for a day, a collage tool, and explored “algorithmic shrubbing” where i repeat steps (draw circle, pull camera 3 inches further from face, draw concentric circle, repeat) and have had interesting and unexpected results. Taking downtime from art and using shrub for fun in the meantime. One of the few apps that takes you outside of your phone to engage more with reality

Most fun, pleasantly simple
🌠 I'm having a blast. I've been using it for 2-3 years now. I use it for my personal blog to create spontaneous images. Keep it the way it is. It doesn't need to be anything more or less than it is right now.

Totally new way to express yourself
Shrub lets me capture the world around me in a creative new way. The drawing/camera combination is awesome and unlike anything I've used before. This is one of those apps that lets you be creative in ways you didn't know we're possible. Get it!
Easy!!
It's easy to make cool instagrams with shrub. Since I can paint with whatever my camera sees...I look at my surroundings in a whole new way. Very fun!!!

I've never had more fun with an app! Shrub selfies have become a daily ritual for me. I love exchanging shrubs with my friends and family in lieu of plain old picture messaging.
