ShuShu - Count in Chinese

ShuShu helps you learn to read and write Chinese numbers from 0 to 99,999. Choose your level range (0–10, 0–100, 0–1000, or 1000+) and train through short, focused sessions designed to make number reading and writing feel natural. You can practice in multiple ways depending on what you want to improve: reading Chinese characters (Hanzi) and answering with digits, building the correct Hanzi form from a number, listening to a spoken number and typing the answer, or using voice dictation to say your answer out loud. When you want something more intense, ShuShu also includes arcade-style challenges such as a 60-second timer, a survival mode with 3 lives, and a matching mode where you pair Hanzi with digits. Timer and Survival can be played in a mixed mode or focused on a specific training style. If you prefer a structured path, the app includes built-in lessons that progress from the basics to tens, hundreds, thousands, and 万. Each chapter explains rules and common pitfalls with examples you can listen to, and you can jump straight into practice from any lesson. Your course progress is tracked so you always know what you have already seen and what you still need to master. ShuShu tracks your progress in a way that actually helps you improve: overall score, accuracy, session history, progress by level range, mastery by mode, and an evolution curve over time. It also highlights weak numbers so you can do targeted training and fix the exact spots that slow you down. To help you stay consistent, you can set a daily goal of correct answers and build a streak with a weekly view, full calendar, and milestones. The experience is lightweight and motivating thanks to an interactive panda mascot with encouraging messages and unlockable outfits. You can also toggle pinyin on or off, replay audio at a normal or slower speed, and the app follows your system light/dark mode automatically. ShuShu is available in French, English, and Spanish (or it can follow your device language).
